In light of a recent Restoration Project I started, I'm reuploading a few enhanced works; the first of which is, at:

In short, I gave Kaylee her hair back. :) As you can see in the little square outtake in the image below, that scene with Kaylee's head set against the dark cargo-bay has always been problematic. Primarily because I've never been able to determine, with certainty, where her hair ends and the background begins. No. Can't. Too much hair. :)

The restored image, to the right, I think still misses a few lockets of hair, but there's also the matter of doing it plausibly to the eye. There's simply too much black inbetween some of her lockets to filter all out in a manner the eye will accept. It's still not perfect, and like as not will never be: the source image is simply too low-grade for that (I may have to wait for Firefly to be aired in HD again). At least I got rid of that rather boyish haircut look of the Kaylee-That-Was, on the left. :)
