Could you please just make it stranger? Stranger. Odder. Could be weirder. More bizarre. How about uncanny?

Yeah, I was too. But then I found a slideshow screensaver that allows me to have all my favorite images show one after another with some cool settings (like different dissolve patterns), and for free!

Just go to

http://www.freewaresite.com/screensavers/slideshow.html

Now you can sit back and enjoy all your favorite Firefly images!

Enjoy!

Another program for this is Webshots, at http://www.webshots.com/ You can tell it to cycle your wallpaper automatically, from 15 minute to 24 hour increments. It can also build a screensaver out of your photos and manage digital photos.

Of course, you COULD go the whole hog, rip the video of the theme from the DVD, and use Videosaver from www.realtimesoft.com to play it as a screen saver, complete with full hi-quality audio ... I currently have the Enterprise theme and Angel theme alternating as my saver...

Mac OS X does this already without the need for extra software. You can set the desktop picture to change every 5 seconds if you want, which is a little excessive, but looks cool with the dissolving effects.

It will also use different images for different screens if you have more than one monitor hooked up to your Mac, like mine.

Yeah, my Mac-using friend told me recently. They all need to be in one folder, but it's still awesome.
