Host: The castaways are stranded on the banks of a river on the planet of Whitefall. They are given green buffs and called the Possum Tribe. Plotting soon begins ...

Zoe and Mal immediately take charge of the Possum Tribe:

Mal: You, go and get wood. You, go and get water. You, go and get food. You, look vacant ...

Zoe: (confessional) I'll let him take the flak for being the leader. I'll be his bestfriend and I won't stab him in the back, but if others want to, that's fine ...

But an obstacle soon presented itself in Jayne:

Jayne: Where do you get off bossing people about ?

Mal: I'm not bossing people about. Wait. Yes, I am. But I have a pistol to back my orders up. Would you like to meet the pointy end of my pistol ?

Zoe: (nudges Mal) Sir ? Pistols don't have a pointy end.

Jayne: (confessional) He's da leader. And I'm gonna follow. Waitcha one darn minute. I'll kill him where he sleeps n' shoot him with the pointy end of his pistol. What's that ? Pistols don't have pointy ends ? Oh, yeah ...

Meanwhile, brother and sister, Simon and River have formed their own alliance:

Simon: So, when you know that they're going to vote against us, you blow their heads up. Lots of brains everywhere ? You understand ? Hey, River. You been taking your meds ?

River: (confessional) Two by two. Hands of blue ...

Later, at the first Immunity Challenge, Jayne wins Immunity by holding his breath for the longest time. Possum Tribe go to Tribal Council ...

Host: You may now vote. Book, you're up first ...

Book votes but we do not see his vote.

Inara votes. She votes for Book.

Inara: You're up 'gainst Mal. He's mine, Sheperd. I saw him first. Now, it's time for you to study your 'book' a little bit better ...

Jayne votes.

Jayne: Bye.

Kaylee votes but we do not see her vote.

Malcolm votes but we do not see his vote.

River votes.

River: Two by two, hands of blue ...

Simon votes but we do not see her vote.

Wash votes. He votes for Mal.

Wash: You're not going to be flirting with my woman, Reynolds. Zoe's mine. You're a threat in more ways than one ...

Zoe votes but we do not see her vote.

Host: I'll go and count the votes.

First vote is for Inara.

Second vote is for Book.

Third vote is for Mal.

Fourth vote is for Mal.

That's one vote for Inara, one vote for Book and two vote for Mal.

Fifth vote is for Zoe.

Sixth vote is for Mal.

That's one vote for Inara, one vote for Book, one vote for Zoe and three votes for Mal.

Seventh vote is for Mal.

Eight vote is for Mal.

Mal, you've recieved five votes. That's enough. You are the first to be voted out of the Possum Tribe. Please leave Tribal Council ...

cute. I'd read more. It's fun to know that we haven't reached the point in our obsession with Firefly that we can't have fun with the characters.
