Clarification regarding fanvids

This is a bit of an odd question, so here goes. I see a lot of fanvids of Firefly/Serenity being posted around this site, videos of our BDH with other music over top. That's all well and good.

However, are we also allowed to post videos of OTHER series/movies/etc with Firefly music/dialogue used as the audio? Like, if someone took, say, a scene from a Harry Potter movie and redubbed it so that Harry is telling Ron that "We're just too pretty to die!", would that sort of thing be welcome here? Or is it "too far" from our beloved Firefly?
