trs80,
Just received your DVD set and want to be the next in a long line of admirers to praise your awesome efforts! The eps are fantastic and there's nothing like watching them on TV on a comfy couch as opposed to in front of a computer monitor. Already had a viewing party and made a whole bunch of new Browncoat converts!
Thanks for making my job in the campaign of "winning the hearts and minds" of Canucks to the Firefly cause that much easier!

So, does this mean Markuz has officially taken over for TRS80?

Greets Gaz!!

Didn't think you'd get them so quick, that's a first!!! Glad you like them, I told you I put my heart into them didn't I?!

to Lerxst:
Well, TRS and I have had a back and forth email session a few days ago and he seems pretty happy about it although he's not come out and said anything officially yet! I sent him over the artwork for the cover, labels and menu screens.

My materials are more expensive though as I use Verbatim discs, quad cases, high gloss paper and labels so the cost of the set itself is quite high. Corner CAN be cut though! Using cheap labels cuts down the cost of the labels a little but cuts down a LOT on the ink!!

Put it this way, if people are still wanting a set, I have the means and it IS an amazing set, purely because I made it for myself as a fan! I don't think I would have put QUITE so much effort into it if I was doing it for someone else. I'm a geek, but I admit it. The person who called me a Xander for having a stormtrooper costume was spot on!! :)

hi all,

MARKUZR and I did discuss his taking over for me.

here's where i stand at the moment:

i'm thru making sets for now. as indicated previously in this thread, when i get a decent set of source files for the missing episodes i'll decide what to do about producing another disc for it.

i've seen the graphics and some screenshots of what MARKUZR has and it looks to be great. but just so it's clear: he's NOT using the same graphics/files that i used to produce my sets. so his sets are different than mine, and of course i can't say anything about their quality/compatibility, etc. just wanted to make sure everyone is clear on this.

i would like to thank MARKUZR for offering to keep fan produced sets available to the public, and hope anyone still needing a set will look to him for one.

SWITCHY

I'm curious about the DVD. How much and how long to ship? It sounds like you have a good thing going but I also wanted to know if they will play on an Xbox. Thanks

Now for another exciting adventure in sitting.

Hey Switchy

I'd appreciate if anyone needing information would contact me off-forum at markuz@aghora.org and we can take it from there.

For what it's worth, according to the foremost online authority in these matters, the XBox is compatible, but you can have a look yourself...
