BLUEMOONSTUFF

Greetings All,

I have finally gotten around to reprinting the Independents Flag t-shirts. Sizes Medium thru 2XL are back in stock and ready to ship. Also, I have bowed to the pressure of a few who insisted that the star be pointing straight down. I redesigned the artwork with this change and also "tweaked" a few smaller hings that most will not notice. Being the perfectionist that I am, I just had to play with it a bit.

This is what the new shirt looks like:

I also ran the last of the blank hoodies with the new design and have one of each in Large, XL and 2XL for anyone who is interested. Instructions are on the website for those. Use the URL in my sig or head to www.bluemoonstuff.com .

THANKS!

I guess this makes the original a collectors item...glad I've got one. BTW nice work as always.

I thought all my stuff was collectors items! You better not put yours up on eBay and sell it for six hundred dollars. LOL!

Thanks for the compliment. I'm using the same shirts and same ink formula so aside from the adjustment on the star they are pretty much like the first ones. I did make an few tiny changes so that the colors blend but like I said above, I don't think many will notice the change.

BTW, how is your shirt holding up? I'm still wearing the original "test run" which was the first shirt off the press that I printed for this design. Going on three years now and it just keeps getting softer. That's close to 150 washings! The fabric is a bit faded but the print is holding real well.

Keep on flyin'

Not much of a seller, more the buying type. Besides, couldn't be too sure the alliance wasn't gunning to close your operation down like they've done with so many other browncoats.

The shirt looks as good as the day I bought it and has only gotten more comfortable from repeated washings. The distressed look you chose for this and the TG Freight shirt was a stroke of genius.

WINDIE

I have to agree with Singate, I have one of your original independant flag shirts ( plus a few of the other designs ) and it is worn a lot and still looks as good as when it first landed on my door step.

Would heartily recommend your shirts to anyone.

Why have they taken the sky from ME

Thanks Windie! I love to hear about the stuff I sell standin' up to the the test of time. I can only do so much "testing" my ownself before I have to let it go into the real world. As it is now, I hold back each batch of shirts I print about two weeks while I test them. I give two or three shirts from each batch a dozen washings and a few "beatings" to make sure that the print will hold up.

So folks, feel free to let me know how your gear is holdin' up. If something went bad I'd like to know so I can make good on it. And, if your shirt has outlasted ones from other places I like to hear about that also. I have bought a few tee's from one of the big Mall Chain Stores that took less than six months for the print to disapear - very disaapointed.

Thanks again Windie & Singate, I appreciate the feedback.

Keep on flyin'

Just a little bump here. A few folks asked 'bout the Hoodies and never got back to me after my reply.

I still have three left with the new print- one each in Medium, XL and 2XL. I'm running a 15% off sale on the whole site thru Monday so these would only be $25.50 plus shipping. Since I only have one of each you would have to send me an email because they aren't set up for sale on my website. The pics are there, just not the add to cart buttons. I don't want to "oversell" goods that I can't ship right away.

the star thing is debatable. on the one hand, the pins are obviously designed for the star to point down, and thats how it is on the show. But if you look at the section in the 1st Companion, you'll notice that the numbers on the back are opposite, implying that maybe the stars were meant to go up. ... oh god ...

...i am a HUGE NERD..

anyway, GREAT SHIRT. i need to get one soon. I have four- the serenity logo, the 'lets be bad guys' shirt, the 'may have been the losing side' one, and (my personal favorite) a fruity oaty bar ad shirt, complete with the octopus and text 'NOT MANDATORY' on the back.

Im sort of ranting i guess, but i was gonna ask, is there any chance of you making that yellow jayne shirt with the pistol design on it? I can't find it, but its on a few episodes, and i'd die for it (unfortunatly, bluesunshirts.com, the only place i've see em at, was taken down (GORRAM IT!!)). *EDIT* i found one! yeah! still gonna go for that independants shirt tho
