Trump might be useful for the Democrats.

I wonder if that was the plan all along, and part of why he and the Clintons are so cozy. Get him in, get him to suck all the oxygen out of the GOP's room, then when he doesn't get the nomination (because he won't, and I'll bet money on it), he can jump to a write-in or indy campaign and pull a huge chunk of GOP support out from under the real nominee, thereby handing Hillary or Bernie the win.

In a better world, Trump's second business bankruptcy would have ended his career, as would his second divorce and second TV show cancellation. But in a better world, Clinton would not be the Democratic frontrunner. We live in inadequate times.

Trump's attitude seems to be "War on women? What are you fucking bitches blathering about? Are you all on the rag or something?"

He really is a class act. Just ask him - he'll tell you how classy he is. He's like a walking caricature of what a really dumb poor person thinks a rich person is.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

I wonder if his popularity with republicans will fall or rise after that little pout he had.

Republicans - they like their candidates classy, like Trump.

Donald Trump, 23 percent (up 1 point)
Ted Cruz, 13 percent (up 7 points)

Funny thing is Trump is always talking about how he deals with "killers" on a daily basis and here he is talking about being treated in a mean-spirited way by a woman moderator.

Wouldn't that be an admission to weakness, according to Trump, he's complaining about a woman being aggressive in her pursuit of the truth. That is another way to look at it Mr. Trump, you big baby!

Rick Perry is all done.

WaPost reports that he quit paying his staff because his money dried up.

Expect his dropout announcement this week.

Rand Paul will likely follow in a few weeks as well, because he performed horribly, he also has about zero money on hand, and his own base is giving him side-eye for calling out Trump for not being a loyal party guy. Remember, Rand was supposed to be an "outsider" who didn't play politics by the old rules of the backroom boys. He just let slip that that's exactly how he does play.

Kudos to Ben Carson for not spewing any more of his chompers on the crowd at the debate. That's probably got to count as some kind of win for him. But whether he's spitting teeth into his grits or not, he's still toothless in this crowd.

Trump won't survive to become the nominee, but he just might spoil it for the GOP by jumping to a third party. It would be high-larious if he did.

Oh how quickly they turn! Megyn Kelly is about as far right as you can get, the only one further right than her is good old squishy Rush Limbaugh. She's not some hack Fox reporter, or a liberal. She asked all the candidates tough questions.

So, your new hero is liberal Donald Trump. Imagine, Megyn Kelly a liberal whore who asks gotcha questions. I absolutely love it! Come on Donald, jump on her back and ride her back to Fox country. It doesn't get any better than this!

LMFAO, f*cking sweet!

Yep, 24 Million viewers wanted to see what Trump was gonna say next. Your boy Paul got his clock cleaned by The Duckster, Donald that is, and now he's searching for his balls on his way to Iowa.

Meanwhile the Clown Show continues next month some time on the network that brought the Circus to town, Fox. But I gotta admit Megyn's got the balls (she scooped up the ones dropped by Paul) to continue as Ringmaster at the next fiasco.

Meanwhile:

Despite Fox doing everything in it's "power" to downgrade and belittle those candidates at the Kiddie Table debate, shown before the main event, one name emerged "victorious" from that debacle: Carly Fiorina.

She has jumped to 4th in most polls. It was said that both her and Rubio came out of the Clown Car with the best showing. Trump, on the other hand, showed that he had a chink in his armor. He lost 3 points off his "commanding" lead. Iowa should prove interesting, but I do hope that Trumpa-Lumpa wins the Republican nomination............Bwah-ha-ha.........
never gonna happen. The RNC will sabotage and torpedo his chances before that happens, quick prep Sarah Palin.

Where's Rinse Prebus when you need him?

You're correct, but for me it's a non-issue. As ElvisChrist so correctly stated, these guys are being lead by the nose by a candidate that has absolutely no idea what he's doing. I guess that's ironic and fits perfectly the mindset of the right.

Both you and I know that Trump will never get to the White House, except through invitation. The RNC will never endorse his candidacy. End of story, but in the meantime, we are being entertained. There's some value in that.

I think Trump points to a genuine malady in the US.

Granted, you have to be a fucking moron to take him seriously. But people have been pilfered from, shunted aside, marginalized ... and treated like so much disposable raw material in the global corporate machine.

Now, maybe the older uneducated white males are the ones who're feeling that hurt particularly sharply. 'Cause even if they weren't at the top of the pecking order before, they could always find a few layers below them to lord over and assuage their pride. Women, children, blacks, foreigners ... But now, not so much. Everyone is competing in the global labor market. Whatever you got, you put on the table and get measured up against everyone else. And there's a lot of people out there who are stronger, younger, better educated, and desperate enough to work for less.
And besides, their mamas never taught them that what goes around comes around. They assumed exploitation was fine because it was always going to be for others. They never ever conceived the idea it would come around to them.
So there they are, dealing with a whole new experience of being completely unimportant ... like everyone else has been all along.

But Trump is the only one addressing the systematic devaluation of people. And yeah, he's pitching his message to moronic old white farts who are outraged! at their undeserved! unfair! displacement.
But that underlying message of rage, that will continue to resonate among a lot of people.
The democrats who are silent on the topic, who placidly play the politics game and turn a blind eye to the widespread suffering that exists - they will eventually be swept away. Either by a democrat who does address the problems, or by a right-wing party.

I'm looking at you, Hillary.

Which begs the question - If right-wingers think liberals are scared of Trump, how fucking terrified must they be of Bernie Sanders, who is drawing much larger crowds than Trump, is beating him in just about any poll (or "pole" if you're a moron like Whozit/Jewelstaitefan) you can find, and is loudly and proudly proclaiming his socialism - and people are loving it!

Everyone keeps acting like he doesn't have a chance, but he's polling higher than Hillary in at least one swing state, and he's got some serious momentum in the way he's been gaining on her. In several polls, he's now within the margin of error, so the Democratic nomination is basically a toss-up at this point.

Just by being in the race and bringing up issues of inequality, he's pulling Hillary to the left, because she's forced to address the issues he's bringing up, and if she's not going to come down on the left side of those issues, what's the difference between her and just another Bush?

At heart the US is more likely to vote for Hitler than Gandhi. That's probably to some extent the fault of the liberals, for pandering over the decades to easy platitudes, and not doing the hard work of developing a platform and creating the think-tanks to push the memes.

In other words, I think right-whingers have an easier time dismissing Sanders as a threat than we do dismissing Trump.

I agree, the OWF (old white farts) are feeling the Bern! (see what I did there?). Yes, they've been devalued (by the GCM - Global Corporate Machine) and controlled by the Koch Brothers. They are mad that they are being lumped in with the rest of us, including the Mexicans. That's why they want to kick them out of the neighborhood, fence them out, to rule and lord over somebody. They have worshiped at the fatted calf and now the Calf has grabbed them by the ankle and has shaken out the loose bits of change in their pockets.

They are no longer the golden boy, the majority. This country is slowly changing and that tsunami has come to pass. Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses...........little did they know that the tide would turn and catch them in it's wake.

It's ironic that a rich dude like Trump is leading the charge and stemming the tide. The huddled masses are being lead by a member of the elite. Fucking genius!
But he's voicing an opinion that resonates with the newly marginalized. Making this country great again (total bullshit BTW) is code for let's get rid of the Mexicans and any other foreigners. Imagine building a wall to keep out the Mexicans, when we get immigrants from all over the world.

Yep, this country is changing, resistance is futile!
