Az much az I'd like to believ Democrats are smarter than Republicanz, the evidens only supports a minor averaje higher IQ at best, and thats only a maybe.

From my experience, peeps who woud qualify az liberal progressiv democrats are mostly just ordinary herd beasts who hav been raized on a diet uv democratic opinionz during their formativ yirz. The sement haz set. Try to introduse sumthing new to them that duznt quite jibe with their programming and just like the conservativ republicanz, it will bounce off their skull no matter how much lojik and info you hav to back it up.

Its a sad reality uv our speciez; for all our accomplishments, we are still animalz with limited mental plastisity. 'Cant teach an old dog new tricks.'

I agree. Most people tend to repeat what they've been told. There's very little learning that goes on, and it's a RARE person who fundamentally changes their mind about ... anything.

Liberals tend to be more reasonable because they've been taught reasonable things ... you won't find many (if any) flat-earthers and creationists in the bunch. On the other hand, liberals tend not to question their own knowledge, pretty much like conservatives.
