Doesn't anybody want this here job?

Speaker of the House is second in line to the presidency, a very prestigious position of power and influence. Should Boehner stay on as Speaker? or should they hand it over to a Tea Party candidate?

Some of the Tea Party have suggested hiring an outside independent person to run the show. How many for that? Well, before you think about it, consider this; it has to be someone elected by the people of the U.S. Don't these Tea Party dudes (and dudettes) ever read the document they claim to be their rock, their Bible? It's in the Constitution.

Paul Ryan doesn't want it because he knows it's a no-win situation for him. He knows that he would have to compromise to get things done and his base would hang him in effigy for conspiring with the enemy, namely the Democrats. McCarthy was forced to resign because of his gaff and the man is dumber than a bag of rocks. So that ain't happening. Isn't anybody in the GOP man enough to tackle the wild bronco; see if you can stay on for 8 seconds.

One Congressman, Dent (R) of PA, even suggested that they might employ the help of the Dems, if this turns out to reach critical mass. Imagine the fun! Yep, the Tea Party and fringe far right have managed to taint the Honorable position of Speaker of the House. The repubs won the mid-term elections and now look at them.

I say, give it to one of the far right Tea Party. Let them run the country and see if they have the balls of steel needed. It's so easy to criticize from afar, but go ahead and take the reins. Let's see what they can do? Go ahead, run the country.

Our country is slowly being sabotaged by the extremists, the outsiders and no one cares what's happening.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

I'm over being appalled and outraged. There's only so much of that I have to pass around. But as beyond the pale as the republican party is - many democrats are corporate lapdogs and Zionist neocons in their own right. They are better on social issues - if you don't count massive spying on the public at large and video-game killing via drones - and as far as I know they haven't rigged any elections or manipulated any laws -

but

with a few rare and stellar exceptions, don't look to them to be in your corner on the economy, banking, monetary policy or international business; technology or privacy; leaving the rest of the world the fuck alone; health, social security or education; or even the environment.

Is the republican corpse in flagrant - and fragrant - VERY obvious rot? And being marionetted across the political stage by big money? It sure looks that way to me. Are most democrats ALSO colluding with the 0.1% at our expense? Absolutely.

Ok, that's one cricket heard from. I have to agree with you because I know how BIG money can corrupt the Dems as much as the Repubs. They do, on occasion, provides "us"with chicken scraps, but for the most part maintain the status quo. Repubs, as far as I can see, are a little more crazed about it.
