"When you're a star, you can do anything to women."

Perhaps it's time we talk about his habit of raping underage girls.

Oh I know the story, and it doesn't surprise me at all. I live in NY I've known for years what a loser scumbag Drumph is. It's just too funny what whozit and his sad troll friends will do to maintain their worship of their Big Orange God. Really looking forward to seeing how sigkik spin this.

Anyhow, dude - if what you want is credit for posting about this first, sorry. No. You should have seen that this shit needs its own thread. :p

DEVERSE

Hey, Ive been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity.

Words to live by;

"Give me liberty, or give me death!" - Patrick Henry
"Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world." - Marilyn Monroe
"Don’t count the days; make the days count." - Mohammed Ali
"Dear Lord, please don't let me fuck up." - Alan Shepard
"We must live together as brothers or perish together as fools." - M.L. King

and now

"Grab 'em by the pussy." - Trump

Brings a tear to one's eye doesn't it?

Oh let the sun beat down upon my face;

To be where I have been

Yep, our Russian trolls are elsewhere trying to distract us away from this thread. Subjective, avoid and change the subject. They are spinning and lying their little hearts off. They have many issues to do that with today. America has called out Russia on their hacking as well as war crimes in Syria.

Yep, their bussy

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

And... I'm still voting for Trump. Because I'm not voting for him because he's a "nice guy", and if you're voting for Hillary because you think SHE'S a "nice person" ... in any way better than Trump ... you're sadly misguided.

HOW MANY OF YOU VOTED FOR BILL CLINTON? Didn't you kind of make a point of ignoring all of the allegations of rape, and testimony ... from Arkansas State Troopers, no less ... about how Bill would detail them to bring to him a specific woman that he's seen? Didn't he admit to multiple infidelities? Doesn't he ditch his ex-Presidential security detail over a dozen times to fly, privately, on convicted sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein's "Lolita Express"? Wasn't a George Soros-funded website, Moveon.org set up just to deflect from Monica Lewinsky?

Bill Clinton is not a whit nicer than Trump, and yet, I'll bet that somehow you managed to squeeze out a vote for him, didn'tcha?

That's the problem with you liberals: you're hypocrites. You have BIG DOUBLE STANDARDS for which you will concoct ANY excuse for someone's behavior .... as long as they're perceived to be liberals/ Democrats .... and start howling and flinging poop the minute a perceived "enemy" does ... literally ... the exact same thing. Welcome to the club that most Republicans belong to: total irrationality and identity politics.

Worse, you have NO SENSE OF PROPORTION. You get all cranked up over events ... or reporting of events ...that are either false or irrelevant, meaningless in the grand scheme of things. You allow yourselves to be manipulated by select narratives whose only purpose is to prevent you from being able to make rational decisions. (rational, from the word ratio: to compare based on relative importance)

Haven't you noticed the steady progression towards WWIII? Hasn't that make a difference in your awareness?

--------------
I think it's time you disabused yourself of that pleasant little fairy tale about our fearless leaders being some sort of surrogate daddy or mommy, laying awake at night thinking about how to protect the kids. HA! In reality, they're thinking about who to sell them to so that they can get a few more shekels in their pockets.

As a candidate, Trump did a lot of erratic and bizarre things. But he also did some normal things. He signaled pretty clearly that he would sign into law Paul Ryan’s preferred package of tax cuts for the wealthy and rollbacks to the welfare state. He indicated that he would roll back the Obama administration’s regulatory actions on carbon dioxide emissions, and offer relief to the banking sector from Obama-era financial regulations. He said he would appoint judges who would overtime Roe v. Wade and advance other key conservative objectives.

We live in an era of highly polarized parties. The governance outcomes of a GOP president versus a Democratic president will be drastically and systematically different. Under the circumstances, it is entirely natural that a committed Republican who sincerely believes in the party’s policy agenda would take an optimistic hopeful view of Trump.

Your response to all this whozit is unbalanced. Take some time to calm down and get back to reality. Firefly was a TV show and the casts politics should not be an issue linked with liking the show or this site in it's entirety.

I suggest you hang out above, enjoy chat for a while and avoid Real World .

We will miss you, but Mal and Kaylee are Canadians. They won’t be voting for Hillary or Trump. Mal did tweet something partisan:

Anyone genuinely surprised to hear this kind of thing from Trump when you already know that he’d cozied up with Roger Ailes — after Ailes got booted from Fox News for treating the cable network as his own personal non-consensual harem —was clearly practicing a fair degree of self-deception. Trump’s sexist statements about Megyn Kelly and Carly Fiorina were out there for everyone to see, Alicia Machado tried to warn us, and anyone who’s been paying attention should not be surprised.

Then of course there’s the matter of how Trump treated disadvantaged groups who are less numerous than women. He offered a proposal to ban Muslim immigration that’s so outrageous the man he later picked as his running mate denounced it as offensive and unconstitutional. Trump said Mexican-Americans are per se unfit to serve as federal judges, and continued to defend his call for the execution of the Central Park Five even after they’d been exonerated.

I want to say that even when I can't understand why someone would support a particular politician, I respect anyone who gets actively involved in the political process.

I'd be genuinely bummed if anyone who loved Firefly left these forums because of real world politics. It's a bad sign when even Browncoats can't stick together. We should be bonding over a common love.

If we ostracize someone for thinking differently, we end up isolating ourselves from people who don't agree with us. And that's only going to make this country more divided.

Nah, not surprised, only in the fact that they got him on tape. And I'm sure that The Apprentice producers have more, but they're not releasing anything.
All those deals that Trump reneged on, cheated or otherwise flat out didn't pay, are coming back to haunt him - actually biting him in the ass.

Some pissed off person had that tape waiting for the day he could get his revenge. Sure Mr. Trump, don't pay me - I'll wait................gotcha motherfucker! Payback's a bitch! At least that's the way I picture it in my mind. Karma - don't fuck with Karma!

You bought into Trump. Enthusiastically. With your precious vote. OMG, I still can't quite grasp that you are that much a loser but in this site I have proof a'plenty: you really did back Trump.

Sigkik the Russian troll thinks that Trump is the best choice for the Pres of the US. It has been preserved in quotes of your posts. Sigkik took that stand. You two will have to answer for this. You won't escape.

All this thought, this time, this passion, wasted over someone who will not be president and will be forgotten less than a month after the election.

What a fucking moronic bunch of sheep you are.

Let me just point out that the author left out vital relevant facts in the opinion piece. Doing that is known as cherry-picking. And whether you do that in the news, in discussion, in debate or in opinion, when you distort the facts, you've changed the nature of your communication into propaganda. But WE don't have any of THAT in the US, do we?!

As usual, you are both right and wrong. If you look at the graph you can see how erratically the electorate responds to every little thing. They are sheep. Trump now has 13.4% chance while only a month ago it was 50/50 chance.

If anyone is a bunch of moronic sheep, easily stampeded, it would be GOP politicians running from Trump, for the moment.

If Trump announced that he was resigning from the race, tonight during the debate, that would be great. Trump could introduce Mike Pence to finish the debate with Hillary, tonight. The Republican rules committee would just slide Mike Pence into the slot that Trump had occupied. If Trump died, the GOP wouldn't concede the race. Nor would the GOP concede if Trump resigned.

I don't think Trump will resign so that the GOP can win the Presidency because he's terrible at political strategy and his mouth & ego are too big. But he could resign. There is no power in the Universe that can stop him.

Hey, Ive been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity.

Defending Trump because he is a "man's man" (the Republican view).

1. What he did 10 years ago is not important, let's focus on what Clinton did 20 years ago.
2. What he did 10 years ago is just being used as a distraction to the real issues of the election, let's talk about what Clinton did 20 years ago because that isn't a distraction.
3. Don't judge him on what he did 10 years ago, we need to judge Clinton on what her husband did 20 years ago.
4. He made those comments when he was a Democrat.
5. Bill Clinton has said worse things, so its OK for Trump to say slightly less offensive things.
6. He's a changed man from 10 years ago because he is so respectful of women now, like Rosie O'Donnell, Gail Collins, Megyn Kelly and Alicia Machado.

Besides, he apologized and that makes everything OK now.

Dilbert's creator, Scott Adams, wrote:

We fine citizens of the United States find ourselves playing some sort of sex abuse poker in which we have to assign value to various alleged sex crimes to see which alleged rapist/groper/enabler combination we want to inhabit the White House and represent our national brand. Let’s call that situation “not ideal.”

My view is that if either Clinton or Trump can be judged by the weight of the allegations against them, both are 100% unfit for the office. I think Trump supporters think it’s worth the hit to our national brand just to get some specific improvements in the country.

Clinton supporters have been telling me for a few days that any visible support for Trump makes you a supporter of sex abuse. From a persuasion standpoint, that actually makes sense. If people see it that way, that’s the reality you have to deal with. I choose to not be part of that reality so I moved my endorsement to Gary Johnson.

I encourage all Clinton supporters to do the same, and for the same reason. I don’t know if any of the allegations against the Clintons are true, but since we are judging each other on associations, you don’t want to be seen as supporting sex abuse by putting an alleged duo of abusers (the perp and the clean-up crew) into office. I think you will agree that it doesn’t matter if any of the allegations are true, because the stink from a mountain of allegations – many that seem credible to observers – is bad for the national brand too. To even consider putting the Clintons back in the White House is an insult to women and every survivor of abuse.

I'm not about to explain why Scott Adams' blog is wrong about everything. I just wanted to show what he wrote after switching his endorsement from Trump to Johnson.

The Washington Post reporter who broke this story of Trump says he has documented evidence of Trump acting this way from 1990 to 2010. Even in conversations about his own daughter. It's telling how the Republican Party that always claims the moral high ground has backed this guy for so long.

Funny how the Clinton haters that think all's fair and who have attacked her at every opportunity, are now claiming foul. I would remind them no one could survive the Republican onslaught the Clintons have endured for thirty years. And the guy they have backed couldn't last one election cycle because he is so morally corrupt.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

Trump now has 13.4% chance while only a month ago it was 50/50 chance.
Even 538 has said - often - that earlier forecasts are less reliable and subject to shifts because people haven't made up their minds yet. And it's true of any race, not just this one.

Be conservative early and aggressive late. Fluctuations in the polls in the summer are often statistical noise or short-term bounces. The model is trained to be conservative in reacting to them. Fluctuations late in the race are more meaningful, and the model will be more aggressive.
It's not because of Trump, and it's not because 'people' are such sheep, and you really, REALLY have no point to make. I suggest you read the entire page that I linked.

You're just not tough enough for this cruel world. It is not hate. It is indifference. Americans are indifferent about dead foreigners killed by the USA's military. They are indifferent about poor Americans, too. Well, that is not exactly true. Democrats care a little bit, but not too much!, because caring too much opens the Democrats to very effective attacks by Republicans that your taxes are being wasted on helping lazy, worthless welfare-cheaters. If Americans weren’t so indifferent toward people not exactly like themselves, US politics would be much more admirable. Then the world wouldn't be so cruel, would it?

Now that Tic Tacs are on a 24/7 cable loop as Donald Trump's favored breath mint before assaulting women, they feel the need to put out a statement:

BULLSHIT

You, more than most, have a giant double standard stuck up your ass.

Trump is a terrible person. He talks nasty about women.
Hillary is a terrible person. When Bill went around horndogging and raping/ assaulting/intimidating/romancing women - and TO THIS DAY flies on the "Lolita Express" - Hillary went out of her way to publicly dismiss and attack these women.

Trumps has stiffed some small business people.
Hillary has had people killed and destroyed nations, and laughed and clapped her hands about it. You'd be hard-pressed to find a Trump equivalent.

Trump has a sketchy Foundation. He has used the LEGAL loopholes to avoid taxes. HE'S A BUSINESSMAN, and has behaved like a businessman should.
Bill and Hillary have their own sketchy Foundation, but unlike Trump - who uses his Foundation for business purposes - Hillary and Bill use their Foundation for their own political purposes (ie stuffing money into their pockets and political campaigns). For example, there is a Haitian activist who has begged NYS to stop allowing the Clinton Foundation to collect contributions from ("Steal money from" was her phrase) people because so much of the various Haitian relief funds under Bill Clinton have disappeared.

Given the seriousness of the issues at play, should the Presidency be based on who has the biggest potty-mouth?

I agree with KIKI: You people have lost the thread of your own story.

This video was brought to light because it is sensational. It has nothing to do with the Clintons. Another truism is that Bill Clinton is not the democratic nominee, Hillary is. If I was Hillary I remind Trump of that.

I have no interest in the results of the "debates". Those are just cage-matches, arranged as our "circus" to distract us from the real agenda of the deep state.

For me, the fact that "mainstream" Republicans are ditching Trump is one more reason to vote FOR him. BUSINESS AS USUAL got us to where we are now. The LAST thing we need is "more of the same". The further and further Trump disassociates from the "mainstream" (ie. "bought and paid for") the more committed I become. The money-changers' tables in the temple need to be turned over. I'm willing to turn them over.

Translation of SIG'S comment

Oh my god. Oh shit my guy ( Trump ) is in trouble. He should be in jail for being a sexual predator but I will act like nothing happened. Crap, that won't work. I know, I will just make a short statement. Something with the word "circus" that I will put in quotes. And then claim the debate is nothing but a distraction. Oh my god no one is going to fall for that. Why am I so stupid and why do I always defend the worst of the worst? I'm such an ass.

Yanno, THUGR, you're a "kill the messenger" kind of guy. If you get news that you don't want to hear, your go-to reaction is
1) Plug your ears and chant "nyah nyah nyah I can't hear you" or

You, my friend, have devised the perfect - and I mean *PERFECT!* -way of NEVER LEARNING ANYTHING NEW, EVER AGAIN.

But I'm confident that Fireflyfans are, in general, much more intellectually robust and curious than you are.

Do you even hear yourself anymore? Here you are, instead of trying to change American cruelty, using "their" cruelty to justify yours. Doesn't that make YOU cruel, too?

Hubby is right: Most Americans don't respond to logic, facts, ethics, or long-term interests. The only thing most Americans respond to is force. We will only change when we are forced to change, and since we won't change of our own volition, someone else will force it on us.

We are in approximate agreement. Now let me get back to being cruel and kicking old, fat, lecherous Trump while he is down (yes, I should be kicking Hillary. I'll let Republicans do it for me.):

http://edition.cnn.com/2016/10/08/politics/trump-on-howard-stern/index
.html

Donald Trump engaged in crude and demeaning conversations about women over a 17-year-period with radio shock-jock Howard Stern. Trump has long engaged in sexually explicit banter over the years, particularly on Stern.

Among the topics Trump discussed: his daughter Ivanka's physique, having sex with women on their menstrual cycles, threesomes, and breaking a relationship with women after they turn 35.

In a 2006 interview, Stern asks Trump, "Do you think you could now be banging 24-year-olds?"

"Oh, absolutely," Trump says.

"Would you do it?," asks Stern.

"I'd have no problem," Trump said.

Stern then asked Trump if he has an age limit.

"No, I have no age — I mean, I have age limit. I don't want to be like Congressman Foley, with, you know, 12-year-olds."

What an unusual and fortuitous coincidence that this video should come out immediately after Trump is in trouble when the video could have been made available anytime in the last 16 years. We are so lucky to be receiving this information. Another coincidence is Trump's campaign chair, Steve Bannon, was at the helm of Breitbart.com the website that made the video. That is no reason to think Trump paid these women. They are speaking from their hearts, not from their bank accounts filled with $1,000,000 of Trump money:

In an exclusive video interview at the presidential suite of the historic Watergate Hotel, the victims of Bill Clinton’s alleged sexual assault — Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey, and Paula Jones — got together for the first time in person to express their personal fear of Hillary Clinton and to warn voters that Clinton does not stand for women’s issues.

The three women, who say their lives were forever changed by their experiences with the Clintons, used words like “terrified” and “frightened” to describe their feelings about the prospects of a Hillary Clinton presidency. Great!

Yanno, THUGR, you're a "kill the messenger" kind of guy. If you get news that you don't want to hear, your go-to reaction is
1) Plug your ears and chant "nyah nyah nyah I can't hear you" or
2) Attack the source, and fail to respond to the content.
You, my friend, have devised the perfect - and I mean *PERFECT!* -way of NEVER LEARNING ANYTHING NEW, EVER AGAIN.

But I'm confident that Fireflyfans are, in general, much more intellectually robust and curious than you are.

I will say again what I have said many times before SIG. I definitely am a kill the messenger kind of guy when it comes to you and 1kiki. You both bash America and our allies too propagate Putin's agenda of undermining democracy. To spread and promote (an idea, theory, etc.) widely:

An example of this would be "the French propagated the idea that the English were violent and gluttonous drunkards." Your and 1kiki's postings this last year alone, is proof of your trolling for Russia in this fashion. Therefore my agenda is to defend against and expose you, and it's been my pleasure.
