Funny - I was thinking of the victim and how the court completely let him down. "...a court in Austria concluded that the 20-year-old attacker may have been unaware the boy did not want to be abused." It would seem that this court would have passed the same conclusion no matter where the attacker was from, right?

Quote:Thanks to the hacking of George Soros's Open Society Foundations (OSF) by DCLeaks, we are getting an inside look at the machinations of the multibillionaire and his organizations. Soros is exploiting the refugee crisis to advance his radical left agenda. Indeed, his Open Society Foundations should be re-named the Open Border Foundations. One leaked memo stands out for its brazen presumption that the refugee crisis should be accepted as “the new normal.” It is entitled “Migration Governance and Enforcement Portfolio Review.” The memo was written by Anna Crowley, the Program Officer of OSF’s International Migration Initiative, and Kate Rosin, a Program Specialist for the same initiative. Never wanting, in Rahm Emanuel’s words, to “let a serious crisis go to waste,” the memo’s authors wrote how the refugee crisis “is opening new opportunities” with respect to donors. They also praised efforts to “take advantage of momentum created by the current crisis to shape conversations about rethinking migration governance.” They had in mind “institutional reforms to global migration governance.” To that end, their International Migration Initiative helped fund the work of the Columbia Global Policy Initiative, which hosts the secretariat for Peter Sutherland, the UN Secretary General’s Special Representative on International Migration. They praised the “elite-level behind the scenes advocacy through Peter Sutherland,” which they believe will influence the outcome of this September’s summits on migrants and refugees at the United Nations, one of which is to be led by President Obama.

Of course you can't because it doesn't fit your desired outcome. And EVEN if there are "cultural differences" used to dismiss the case, doesn't that still fall on the court who used them as an excuse for dismissing assault? LOGIC - it's your friend, especially if it's objective. Quote:Originally posted by SIGNYM: ALSO, do you have nothing to say about the migrant who was urging Germans to leave Germany? You're right. Quote:Originally posted by G: Quote:Originally posted by THGRRI: SIG mostly posts from notorious sources to further her agenda which is trolling on behalf of Russia. On the rare occasion where the story can be confirmed as coming from a reputable source I have to ask why is she posting it? Why would SIG post a story about a boy raped at a pool in Austria? Is it because a crime was committed by a refugee? There are five hundred and ten million people living in the EU. Millions of people for different reasons are migrating into Europe from a hundred different places. We have witnessed firsthand SIGs’ anti-immigrant rants. Her fear mongering posts about immigrants exist in many different threads. This is just another one. She's trolling. It's been apparent for some time (at least a year, closer to 2) that there is a growing playlist she's been given. Instructions on what to hype and how to spin different subjects, along with photos supplied to further those points - an ever evolving manual of sorts. It encompasses a great many subjects and places throughout the world. You can tell when an event happens and she'll do a thread dump, one that is just too detailed and extensive to have come from her that quickly. Shoot, I'm giving away how we know! Another thing that gives it away are her major ethical and political inconsistencies. The SIGNYM from before would never be for a Birther, a Climate Denier, and certainly not pro someone who is so indifferent to health care. It's sad to see someone sell themselves out so completely. Or maybe I just didn't know her like I thought I did? And now get ready for the denial and broken logic data stream. What do you guess? 10,000 words this time?

Quote:A new survey conducted by the thinktank European Values found 44 percent of Muslims in Europe have beliefs that correspond to radical Islamic fundamentalism, further shedding doubt on the prospect of migrant integration. Researchers from European Values, based in the Czech Republic, defined Islamic fundamentalism as a belief in returning to the roots of Islam, coupled with an adherence to a strict interpretation of the Quran. Fundamentalists also believe values espoused in the Quran take precedence over norms and laws of European countries.

Quote:A majority of the Muslims in Europe [think that] sharia should have precedence over the secular laws of their European host countries. This according to a new study by WZB Berlin Social Science Center where Muslims in six countries interviewed, including Sweden. A study that should concern Western politicians, according to the researchers. The study posed three questions to the immigrant Turks and Moroccans in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Holland and Sweden: Do you think sharia is more important to you than the laws of the country you live? (66%) Do you mean that there is only one legitimate interpretation of the Koran that should apply to all Muslims? (75%) Are you saying that Muslims should return to their “Islamic roots”? (60%) Those who answered Yes to all questions be referred to as “consistent fundamentalists” – and these represent 44 per cent of those questioned Muslims in Europe. The fundamentalist attitudes are as common among younger Muslims among the elderly. According to the study (conducted as early as 2008, but only now have been published), the situation is worst in Austria. Where 73% of the Muslims replied that sharia is more important than the secular State laws, 79 percent that there is only one correct interpretation of the Koran that apply to all and 65 percent believe that the Muslims to return to their Islamic roots. A total of 55 percent replied by the Austrian Muslims in the survey that they agreed with all three allegations.

A plain reading of what you wrote makes it clear what you meant, and nobody is convinced by your retrospective rationalization.
