I left in 2013 after a couple of people were very rude to me about my sisters death which had just happened. Having spent a couple years in treatment, a year in treatment denial, 11 days locked in a hospital, 70 hours standing arguing in front of a death panel which argued that because my sister was born physically disabled she didn't have a high enough quality of live, even though she was a senior director at a VA hospital, as in veterans, not virginia, and then two weeks by her deathbed, I wasn't in great shape, and the usual trolls tore into me, and I left.

Election season is always hell here, it's over, let's move on and deal with other topics than variations on hate.

I know that a lot of the regular crew left after a fairly major fight, and I sort of know why, so it's not likely they're coming back. Some might.

While the right attacked the left, the left attacked the center, and pretty much hollowed out the middle of the rwed spectrum. From March of '13 through the end of '14, one person after another became the target of pointless personal attacks.

All that was left at the end was people on the right who were always a target, so it was never personal, and people on the left who were never a target.
