I agree that was terrible, but you've got your time tables messed up.

This incident happened in 2016.

The article you posted in the first post of this thread was written on Jan. 23, 2017. At that time the article states that they had only passed a preliminary draft bill for the new laws.

Actually, without any follow up articles or evidence, we don't even know if the amendment has gone any further than that stage. Has it been implemented? Was it shut down after the preliminary hearing? Is it still in limbo?

Regardless, the events you just described happened before this amendment was even brought to a vote, and happened under the rules that came before it and might still be intact today.

There has to be a story here. The Duma is very similar in it's behavior to the US congress, and it doesn't do things our congress wouldn't do, so there's got to be a Frank Luntz thing going on here.

ETA: 61 women in the Duma, and only 3 voted against this bill. I'm guessing it's not really what we say it is, and this this more anti-Russia propaganda from the media.

What is it with you guys and Russia. You are ready to fight to the death over the ACA. You criticize every American leader and every decision they make, ( unless it's a Russia lover ), and Russia can do no wrong. They are a country run by a dictator. A guy who kills dissenters. They don't operate anything like the United States dreamtrove/sockpuppet. If Putin says no it doesn't happen. If he says do it, it can't happen fast enough. You saying their "Duma is very similar in it's behavior to the US congress, and it doesn't do things our congress wouldn't do," is incredibly stupid, ignorant and void of truth.

And Jack, the Russian parliament voted 380-3 to decriminalize domestic violence. Something they have a massive problem with. That says it all, and is why I used the term moron to describe you.

You guys can't possibly think what you say negative about the United States means shit. How could it when you defend Russia and the way it's governed, as well as dismiss all the atrocities committed by them. Or as Jack does, dismisses them with the simplest of terms, yeah but, as he spews his opinion that defies researched material, facts and logic.

It's done suckpuppet/dreamtrove. Another hypocrite, supporter of the East has been exposed through the Syria thread. Try discussing the problems of your beloved Russia. It needs the most work.

When you catch up to America and our democracy, if you can catch up, give us a call. You know, when you're allowed to.

And Jack, stop being duped by these people. They say something nice to you and they gain an attack dog.

No, what you do is post as a passive aggressive authoritarian. You pretend to be posting in a friendly manor as you spew out your hate for my government, my country. As you do so you have the audacity to deflect criticisms from the ways Russia and Syria are governed. This, while calming the Russian equivalent to our congress, is on the same moral plan as we are. And you're on record as saying what Putin and Assad are doing in Syria, is just.

What's your response to my allegations based on your own words? Poor me, I'm such a nice guy and your just a troll. Well that's laughable.

What I am, is a troll hunter.

I'm sorry, but that's their country. And the Syrians asked Russia for help.

I know the neocon/globalist position is "we wants it, my precious" as was outlined in the PNAC papers. If you actually support that position and have an argument, then I'll hear it. Otherwise, your argument just sounds inconsistent to me, like "Anyone wearing blue is a hero, anyone wearing red is a villain."

Is it dreamtrove or sockpuppet? It's hard to remember what face of yours I am addressing.

I see you once again changed what I wrote, replacing it with your words before reposting it. What I said was I am a troll hunter. You have the same problem SIG and 1kiki have. They just can't bring themselves to criticize Putin. I used that to expose you.

The more you post about Syria the more I like it. Remember, I led you by the nose to that thread to get you to expose yourself, your real world views. I taunted you and you followed along nicely, wagging your tail all the while.

As I read your post that was collapsing in on it self as it went on, I see you since fixed it, I was reminded of the wicked witch of the west. She too kept shrinking as she voiced her displeasure at her weaknesses being exposed. Dorothy used a bit water, I used a bit of sunshine.

Lol. Yeah, it was pretty failurific.

But read your own post here. Srsly. You just outlined what a troll does, by definition, and then said that you do that, intentionally. So, in good faith, you baited me to debate and issue, and now are saying that you never had any intention to debate, that it was a trick to frame me for a later trolling by you. WTF? That's sick, man. That's just fucked up. And deeply disturbed.

Do I have problems with Putin? Sure. Do I think he's a threat to the US? No.

Nope, I exposed you. Actually you started that process when you started posting under duel identities. I'm happy to let the others decide. Well, those who are not trolls as you are.

So what Jack. I have the events are out of order. It's doesn't change the facts; wow. The story is background on domestic violence in Russia. Go back up the thread. I posted the vote that involved changing the law. Then later on I posted some background.

The point is to show what's going on in Russia. Do some research Jack. Figure it out. Show me what I posted that is not true. Here is the title of the thread Jack,"Vladimir Putin proposes easing penalties for domestic violence." and he did.

Here you go Jack. After you finish reading here go back to the beginning of this thread. This way you can see what an ass you've been all the way through it.

Putin approves legal change that decriminalises some domestic violence

Vladimir Putin has signed into law a controversial amendment that decriminalises some forms of domestic violence.

The amendment, which sailed through both houses of Russian parliament before Tuesday’s presidential signing, has elicited anger from critics who say that it sends the wrong message in a country where, according to some estimates, one woman dies every 40 minutes from domestic abuse. It makes “moderate” violence within families an administrative, rather than criminal, offence.

From now on, beatings of spouses or children that result in bruising or bleeding but not broken bones are punishable by 15 days in prison or a fine, if they do not happen more than once a year. Previously, they carried a maximum jail sentence of two years.

Spare the rod, spoil the child aye Jack.

You either A) were unaware that you were posting an old story before the vote to use as evidence that the vote was a bad thing.

B) You knew that this happened way before the vote and lied about it.

Everything else after that lie doesn't matter.

It was intended as background highlighting domestic violence in Russia. I did not post the incident in the story you quote. That was just a part of the story. OK, THUGR... WHAT happened "next"? There's nothing in the article about "what happened next" (i.e. after decriminalization).

YEP! NOVEMBER! Good lord, how can anyone get so close to retirement and still... OK, nevermind. - SIGNY

Wait, are you ready for it SIG. I posted a headline and link to story written in March 2017 after the law was signed into effect by Putin. You post the same link. It was intended as background highlighting domestic violence in Russia. I did not post the incident in the story you quote. That was just a part of the story. How is it you're such a complete moron you don't know the difference? And I quote you SIG, " The story that you posted may have been dated March but the event was in .... wait for it ... NOVEMBER.". So what SIG, again you quote a part of the story. A part of a story written in March 2017. There's nothing wrong with my timeline and I didn't mislead anyone. It's just that I'm dealing with some very confused people. - THUGR

Me responding to SIG.

Who said, "Russia decriminalized domestic violence. What happened next is wrenching -THGUR" .....

That's the headline of the story SIG you asshole.

OK, THUGR... WHAT happened "next"? There's nothing in the article about "what happened next" (i.e. after decriminalization).

Read the story again SIG.

Maybe it's

"Others, like Savchuk, lose their lives despite reaching out for help due to a police mentality that largely underplays gender-based violence and a police force relatively poorly trained and often legally unable to properly assist victims of violence.

"When I respond to domestic violence, I often feel useless because I can't arrest the abuser without the victim's written complaint," said Vladimir, a policeman in a roughly 300-person village just outside of Moscow. "We don’t have a procedure of compulsory arrest."

Maybe it's something else. Writer a letter to the editor. All I did was post the story.

The real point is I'm dealing with morons with a capital M. I guess I'll hear from Jack next. Sorry, but you two are on your own.

Talk about necropositng!

Yep, that's too bad for women in Russia. I suppose that's for the people of Russia to sort out.

How about we address our own domestic violence problems? And, while we're at it, homelessness, drug addiction, joblessness, and lack of health insurance?

Look out! The Russian trolls must necessarily leap to the defense of their beloved Putin, like they always, without exception, do.

They'd like to forget that the world is getting back together and dealing with Putin is on the top of everybody's agenda. So, all the older Russian threads are becoming relevant again. Payback is wonderful when it comes to Putin.

Oh, baloney. What MORE can "they" do to RUSSIA!!! that "they" haven't already done under Trump?

Sanctions were tougher on Russia under Trump than under Obama. Look at Trump's strenuous attempts to derail Nord Stream 2. And there were just as many "regime change" operations on Russia's border under Trump (Belarus, Armenia) as under Obama (Ukraine). Also, Trump was willing to bail from nuclear arms control agreements. I expect continued regime change operations in Syria, maybe Moldova orone of the 'stans but overall I don't see much changing. There may be more huffing and puffing for the easily distracted .... prolly a phonied-up hysteria about "cyber" this and that (but no real security increases for our elections or critical infrastructure), more $$$ for the MIC for hypersonic weapons ... but that's about it.

If we're so stupid to get into a real shooting war with Russia, it will be a mistake we may not live to regret.

Man... the Legacy Media isn't even hyping Biden* up to be that big.

Unlike Marco's' claims about Trump supporters, Tiny Ted might actually believe that Biden* is God.

Settle down there, son. You're going to hurt yourself.

The only thing the world seems to be good at doing is destroying society over a virus that kills next to zero of the population. I don't think Putin's too worried about the world.

In the mean time, maybe learn how to speak Chinese with your down time. Because The Establishment loves it some China.

What have you done today to earn your place in this crowded world? :)
