!? I thought this guy was smart. There's only one reaction here that would be legit. "This must be investigated" with a possible "I recuse myself, meanwhile."

Here's the problem, skipping the fact that Wikileaks has posted over a 10 million documents and no one has ever found them to be bogus, not even one time. (Srsly? 10 million documents, and not one phoney? MSM can't even make it through one document without lying.) and getting right to the part where someone just say "there's the perp" and your defense is what? "No I'm not!" If you really thought you were innocent, you'd wait for the loon to try to prove his case, not deny it and then ask the CIA to hunt him down.

So I guess that's a tacit admission of guilt. And kudos to Sig, the deep state theory is true, we have two CIA agents who are Pence buddies saying it, and Hillary saying it.

What happens now better happen smoothly and quickly if it's going to happen, and I guess that means VP Paul Ryan. Kind of a step down for him. If someone impeaches Trump meanwhile, like Rachel Maddow, who must be a branch of govt in the deep state by now... We'd get President Ryan? Or would they pull some cockemamie bullsh!t like they did to install Ford. (Applying that logic here would give us the canadian, Ted Cruz.)

Well, referencing Sig's deep state koolaid, she might be right. Assange charged HRC+CIA are backing Pence to take over, and some CIA people close to Pence are involved. Pence said essentially "no i didn't" and then added "get that guy" which is like wearing his "yes i'm guilty" t-shirt to work today.

If I had someone in my govt. in such a situation, then I might want to look into that.

My question was sort of, does that mean Ryan becomes VP, or Trump picks. I recall a lot of times a prez has picked a new VP to run for re-election, but not this sort of situation. What does happen? If a prez could just replace a vp, why doesn't it happen all the time? why didn't cheney get the boot?

I assume this is about democracy, in a way that the ascension of gerald ford basically wasn't. But the ascension of hillary clinton wouldn't be that different.

if an investigation find what assange is saying to be true, then if that implicates pence's willing involvement in a deep state coup, i assume pence would resign. does trump just pick someone, or does it go to paul ryan?

ETA2: this is bugging me. the media keeps saying "assange has broken the law" um, assange is an australian citizen living in the uk, afaik has never been to the us. I don't think they're clear on the concept of 'law' here.
