Really, now that it is clear FBI has become nothing more than Democrat Party sockpuppet and attack dog, why should it not be disbanded?
If Democraps want to retain it's services, they can fund it themselves, not with public funds.
And more critically, it must be stripped of all authority to invade privacy and personal business.

*snort.

I think it's pretty clear the FBI is still against bad guys, like your mindless leader.

It's good that you are afraid they will take him down.

Hilliary, Bobo, Loretta, Comey are not my leaders. And it is not clear to me that the FBI is against them. It rather seems obvious the FBI is covering for the Bad Guys.

I don't want the FBI to go anywhere.

If we're going to start dismantling alphabet agencies, my first pick would be the CIA.

It would be a pretty close call between the NSA and the CIA.

Disband the Renewable Fuel Standard. It is about ethanol made from corn blended into gasoline. Oil states like Texas hate it. Corn states like Iowa, and their Senators, love it, but it raises the price of gasoline and corn-fed beef for every state. By the way, ethanol from natural gas is much cheaper than ethanol from corn. And I have some natural gas to sell and corn feed to buy.

Change national ethanol policy - the Trump administration recently sided with the ethanol lobby by slightly boosting fuel blending requirements.

This also multiplies land values in the upper Midwest, about triple the normal value. Which is destroying the family farms model.

"Nothing to do"? Wrong. Sometimes what I am doing seems to be random shaking of the ground but is simultaneously equivalent to seismic mapping of your brain. I want to know if you’d fault Trump’s ethanol-from-corn policy for sacrificing $billions every year from the entire nation for a small political gain to himself. A Democrat can never change the Renewable Fuels Standard signed by Bush, but Trump, well, he has his reasons to make it worse --- for you:

Ethanol sucks, it's worse for engines and leaves more deposits. But since cars are only good for about a decade now before the plastic rots...don't guess it matters much... *shrug.

So, FBI is a Democrap sockpuppet, covering up crimes and Treason by Libtards, and maliciously persecuting any reasonable and honest citizen for made-up indiscretions.

CIA is scary, don't recall if they are proven Democrap sockpuppet, but Valerie Plame rings a bell. Wouldn't be too surprised.

NSA certainly is a Democrap sockpuppet, hello runaway unmasking and invasion of every citizen's privacy.

And now we have the Renewable Fuel Standard invading emails of Citizens, covering up crimes of Libtards, commuting crimes by targeting innocent Citizens for imaginary crimes.
Is that right?

Maybe bung is not the detour, but the sole access route.

Perhaps it's Trump with his head up his? The answer to the question that has long enraged Trump: the identity of the mystery leaker behind the stream of stories of White House chaos and dysfunction that have appeared since he took office. It turns out that the president rants endlessly on the phone to his billionaire friends, who feel no duty of confidentiality. In other words, the leaker Trump seeks is . . . himself.

Cow plops. The FBI, CIA, and NSA are all part of the Intelligence Communites and all report to the Director of National Intelligence (DNI). They are also all part of DHS. The intelligence agencies do share information, and have been reported to make use of NSA's secret database of information which has been gathered both legally and illegally, then constructing a plausible story to account for the information which they (technically) shouldn't have.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

Getting back to the FBeye - does anyone have any historical data about it doing any good? Hoover (nearly 50 years as director) was a disaster. Nixon used the FBI (along with other agencies) to bug political figures (yay political freedom and democracy!). The FBI was the agency that initiated - and then tried to end - the siege at Waco. And recently it looks like the speartip of an attempted coup.

I can think of a lot of disasters the FBI engineered, and can't think of one good thing.

I think, like every single other government agency, there should be some cross-investigations by other agencies to keep them all in check. If we're going to point fingers at alphabet agencies, another one that I'd have higher on my priority list than the FBI is the IRS since it does personally effect me and everybody else I know.

Timing.....

Just like it was stupid for the creators of Dr. Who to cast their first female Doctor right now, now is not the time to be talking about disbanding the FBI either, just like during a Republican presidency isn't the time for Democrats to whine about the Electoral college.

Dr. Who should a been a woman 10 years ago when it would have meant something and it would have been edgy, yet completely explainable in the show's perameters.

Talk about disbanding the FBI shouldn't be coming from supporters of a President who is currently under investigation by the FBI.

Democrats should only talk about changing the Electoral College after a Democrat has won.

You do realize that the head of the FBI was hand picked by Drump, right!?

You do realize that the Acting Attorney General is a Republican, right!?

You do realize that the Special Prosecutor is a Republican, right!? And a decorated Marine.

Drump stubbed his toe and never served his country. Not only that, he's a fucking Nazi scumbag from deep within the KKK. Just for starters.

Stripped them of their power and ability to investigate? Sure, let these greasy motherfuckers that already own Congress run things. Why not!? You will be pumping their gas, and changing their oil very shortly for table scraps. They, the rich fucking Repugs will be servicing your wives and daughters, while you clean the windshields of their brand new Testarosas and Rolls Royces.

They will be wiping their asses with hundred dollar bills while you scour the countryside for the nickel return on soda bottles and cans. Oh, it gets better than that...just wait, you will be clicking your heels and giving a high salute to your lords and masters; polishing their silverware and washing their cars for a living.

Just take a long look at how the Master Race treated their underlings. You'll see soon enough. That is, of course, if Kim doesn't push the magic button and blows California to Kingdom come. Just look to the West for that Mushroom Cloud. Then talk to me about disbanding the FBI.

Listen, I hate Trump. Why? Because he's a racist, a bully. I will never forget what he said about those "people" marching around Charlottesville chanting "Blood and Soil." That spoke volumes about where his head is at. And one of them killed an innocent, speaking her mind and standing up for her rights.

If it offends you, well, Trump offends me.....so we're even. Devolution is right, we are slowly headed in that direction.

You know something Kiki, now you're talking.

Listen, my rant is not really about partisan politics, Red v. Blue. It is a commentary on the state of things to come (of course, my POV). It may have been a bit harsh, but sometimes real things in this world have bite. The commentary is about the average human in this world (people looking to live peacefully with their families and enjoy life) as opposed to those who consider themselves elite because they control the world's purse strings (still some may even think themselves special for other reasons).

Dems, as well as Repubs, are looking to maintain the status quo. They wish to keep their cushy existence, though there may be but a handful who enter looking to actually serve. So yeah, Dems are at fault as much as the Repubs for the sad state of affairs that exist in our country today. No question.

This is survival we're talking about. Yes, you hate Hilary and I hate Trump, but that is an illusion, much like religion. A mere distraction. "We" are fighting for table scraps, while the Ultra-Rich feast. Someone is playing at being 'The Wizard,' hiding behind the curtain.....Keep that in mind.

SMILE when you say that, sonny! And more specifically ... point to where I have insulted anyone "unprovoked".

I'll bet you can't find a single "unprovoked" insult from me to anyone. OTOH, your comrades dish out insults with great regularity. Seems to me if anyone has claim to being provoked, it's me. So how about a little credit where credit is due, and a little blame where blame is due? Or is that too much to ask?

Oh, and BTW ... your little screed about scaring up nickels while the elites wipe their asses with $100 bills? I think I've been saying that at least as long as you have. So how about a little agreement, where agreement is due?

Hard to believe, but we're actually on the same side here. And it's not just me. You'll find KIKI on that non-partisan side too. YOU and KIKI and me - we've been saying the same thing. Probably SIX as well, too.

You shouldn't "hate" anybody, but that's on you. I used to have a lot of hate in my life back in the day. It's stressful as shit. Sure, I thought Obama edged out GWB as the worst president that we've possibly ever had, and for sure in my lifetime... but I don't hate either of them.

As Sigs said in the post above this one, and I've said a lot in the past, I think we all probably agree on more than we disagree on. This "Us VS Them" mentality the whole damn country seems wrapped up in isn't doing anyone any favors.

Hell... Kiki and I have gotten into swearing matches over some topics at points. Sigs and I don't always agree on things, but we've always been completely cordial in our disagreements.

I don't want to argue with you man. I know that ideologically we're quite a bit different, but I find you to be one of the more reasonable people here most times.

I don't answer to Kiki and Sigs, and they sure as hell don't answer to me. I'll never tell you to keep T and G and Wishy in check, and you don't do the same to me. Deal?

Do Right, Be Right. :)

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

"This is survival we're talking about. Yes, you hate Hilary and I hate Trump, but that is an illusion, much like religion. A mere distraction. "We" are fighting for table scraps, while the Ultra-Rich feast. Someone is playing at being 'The Wizard,' hiding behind the curtain.....Keep that in mind."

I don't hate Hillary ... well, that's not entirely true, on a personal level there's a lot of 'creepy' that comes off of her ... but politically, she's not the choice people seem to think. She's more of the same.

And when it comes to Trump, I don't like him either.

I just find myself in the position of having to criticize the Deep State and those who go along with its propaganda and deeply non-democratic soft coup. SURELY there are better - ok, worse - things to hold against Trump other than his non-existent collusion with Russia to throw the election, and his tweets.

I'm looking for something SUBSTANTIVE from the democratic party and democrats in general. Something that indicates they're willing to roll up their sleeves and work for our betterment, instead of their cushy sinecures. But all I see is subtle and not-so-subtle assistance to the Deep State in its machinations. So that democrats can ride on the greasy path the Deep State provides them, without having to make any political changes.

As a registered Democrat in a deeply blue state, I got a call from the DNCC yesterday whining for money. I refuse to give the party one cent, or vote for a democrat, until they prove to me that as a party, or individually, they get that people need an economy that works for them.

HAS IT NOT OCCURRED TO YOU BY NOW THAT IF YOU HAVE TO RESORT TO LOGICAL FALLACIES AND TROLLING YOUR SO-CALLED ARGUMENTS ARE LIES?

Yep, 50+ years as registered Democrats in a deeply blue state here too.

But you should be around when the Dems call and whine for $$, and hubby answers the phone. F&cking whores is one of the nicer things he's said. It's quite entertaining, on this end of the phone anyway.

I've just got progressively more and more disillusioned with the Democratic Party as time has gone on, starting with Bill Clinton and his constant licking the dicks of the elites. Hillary .... was the last straw. At that point, it had become clear that the Democratic Party was completely corrupted and had no intention whatsoever of representing ordinary Americans. So fuck 'em.

Losers and trolls. Yep, Whiners, losers and trolls. These threads are full of posts from losers who show they do not understand the issues they offer opinions on. What the ramifications of what they argue for are, or why things exist they way they do. In this case the FBI.

Their belief is that because people pick sides in politics our top law enforcement agency should be disbanded. I would remind them Mueller is Republican. That more Republicans serve at the FBI than do Democrats. That Trump gave more money to Hillary than any at the FBI.

All they accomplish is to show the rest of us that mistrust and hate fuels their opinions. That, and that some here are russian.

Disband the FBI? Add stupid to whiners and trolls as well.

Says the guy who loves government-controlled press. You CONSTANTLY advocate for state-surveillance, government-approved news, military action abroad, and knee-jerk jingoism. What's the difference between what you advocate for us here, and Russia? Oh, that's right...nothing.

You're misattributing again. You made up that sh*t about me - or don't you remember? You can't seem to keep your fictions straight.

T - I'd ask her for links on this:

Since according to her you do it CONSTANTLY it should be easy.

That last time one of your comrades asked for links, he had his ass handed to him. It was GSTRING, asking me to provide links to his stupid posts on unemployment. And since I know you'll ask for links to that, here it is, in all it's marvelously stupid glory: http://www.fireflyfans.net/mthread.aspx?bid=18&tid=62089&p=3 Remember, GSTRING? You got burned, now you're telling your comrades to do the same thing?? What kind of comrade are you?

So, as far as YOUR stupid posts, THUGR, here is the first link to your thoughts on government-approved news
http://www.fireflyfans.net/mthread.aspx?tid=62145

And your thoughts on why innocent people should continue to be surveilled
http://www.fireflyfans.net/mthread.aspx?tid=62154

I'm kinda busy, but yanno, this is too easy because your really DO advocate for a Russian-style government, so I'll be sure to get back with you later, with more of your surveillance-state posts, which you're so fond of.

Bullshit sig, your links don't provide what you claim. This tactic is not new for you. As for me backing a Russian style government, let me ask you this.

Do you sig, do you denounce the way Putin rules russia, because I surely do.

Do you condemn russian state media, because I do.

Do you condemn Putin's killing of journalists who challenge him, because I surely do.

Do you denounce russia's operating practices being almost completely corrupt under a corrupt regime, because I surely do?

Are you willing to admit russia does not follow any form of the rule of law, because I surely do.

Will you admit that russia is a predatory nation-state, because I surly will.

By the way, have you visited my thread titled, " Another Putin Disaster?" This is just to easy because you're just to fucking stupid.

I dunno. How DOES "Putin rule(s) Russia"? He's elected democratically, as is the Russian Parliament (Duma). You'll have to tell me what you think the problem(s) is (are).

Quote:

No I don't. Russian state media reflects the Russian government POV, and everyone understands it as such. It's like condemning Voice of America/ Radio Liberty or the BBC, which always reflect the interests of their respective governments. I may disagree with their slant, but I don't "condemn" them for their bias because everyone is biased.

Quote:

If this has happened, then - yes, it's a real problem. Freedom of the press and the free marketplace of ideas is very important to a self-correcting society.

Quote:

Just like your first question, this is a blanket, open-ended question. What "operating practices" do you find so problematic? Tell me so that I can decide whether I agree with it or not.

Quote:

Are you willing to admit russia does not follow any form of the rule of law, because I surely do.
Tell me which laws Russia has abrogated, especially international laws.

As an aside, yes, the links that I provided show you to be a defender of state control.

Also, I don't think it's up to me to "condemn" another ruler or another nation. Even if I find the practices of certain groups- like ISIS - to be abhorrent, "condemnation" implies that I have some sort of authority to judge and punish. I may strongly disapprove, but I don't have authority to "punish" another nation over its internal policies, especially not militarily. If you had asked your questions differently- yanno, with less self-righteous huffiness - I might have given them more consideration.
