Maybe this little report could help the "disadvantaged" and smarty pants to understand how the "Memo" came about.

A special report by Ari Melber breaks down republican hypocrisy on the controversial GOP memo and how GOP leaders overseeing a key surveillance law are now politicizing it.

Watch and listen closely how Nunes and Ryan, among others, brilliantly explain how the surveillance law helps to bring down terrorists. A law that was passed a month ago. You can't make this shit up!

It was a pretty transparent (and desperate) partisan hack to most of us. I like the one talking head that said the reason Trump & his stooges are throwing everything at a wall to see what sticks is because of Flynn. Trump knows what Flynn knows and it terrifies him. It's a good guess at least.
More Republicans coming out and being honest about the Memo's fraud. Dent, and Gowdy (who announced his retirement the same day the memo came out (shame?), both being upfront - hallelujah. I guess you have to not have your job in the balance to be honest in DC.

Will Trump sign off on releasing the Demo's Memo? That will be very telling, the SPIN either way, if he does or if he doesn't. Knowing how obvious his lies are it should at the very least be pretty embarrassing and damn funny at the same time.

Why do you need one? You have video of these geniuses telling you directly just how important the law is, and now they are trashing it just weeks later.
It's just so back-asswards!

Oh, and just in case you say you need a transcript as proof, because a video can be tampered with. So can too a piece of paper, especially on the internet. Maybe you can obtain a transcript by that so-called news outlet ZeroHedge. Or perhaps that stalwart of free press, The Kremlin. Breitbart!?

I'm not denying anything. Just stating a fact.

You seem to have in your craw that I have some stake in all of this. I don't. But I'll just say that the Dems are not doing themselves any favors right now. They have no plan moving forward other than to continue on the bad path they're on now, which is to continue to galvanize the base of their opposition.

Just a bit uv wut if:

Suppoze Nunes iz not a total imbisil. Insted, he'z a mole in Trump's operation.

That woud explain the seemingly ham-fisted obvious ployz to hide the TrumPutin Conspirasy that alwayz manaj to shine more lite on it and make it worse.

The goal woud be to oust Trump without loozing hiz voterz. At least Ryan and McConnel and probably many more GoPs woud need to be in on it. They hav been helping the FBI and Mueller bild an airtite case uv treazon agenst Trump all along and will suddenly flip agenst him, prezenting the world with a trainload uv proof that Trump haz been working for Putin for decadez.

They will tailor the pakaj mainly for the Trump chump voterz, showing how he duped and betrayed them and made them all look like foolz to the world.

Pence will be the lead deliverer, ernestly beseeching the Nation to come together, united agenst the Russian criminalz.

They will incorporate hints uv Obama and Hillary involved in the big plot to steal America, perhaps sacrifising Hannity and a few other rite wingnut media trollz.

They will make the GoP the hero party agenst the godless commie Russianz and their Trumpuppet.

The 2018 election will be a landslide, leaving a mortally wounded Democratic party with only a handful uv seats. Pense will fone in hiz 2020 campain, with the Libertarian and even the Green candidates getting more votes than the Democrat!

Nothing in my craw...I checked. Couldn't care less whether or not you have something at stake in all this, this monstrous pile of horse manure that the Grand Poobah of Orangism is dealing. Never crossed my mind, but I have to say your deflector shield is showing. Anywho, it doesn't matter what anyone says now............the facts will come out in due time and we shall see, won't we!

But I do appreciate your observation that the Dems are digging a hole, that will soon be their graves, and that they have no plan of attack. The galvanization of the opposition's base. Got it!

Dems - No Plan, Repubs - Have the Cadillac of superior plans for the demolition of.....how you say.......Ah, yes.....The Sexiness of the United States (soon to be the Dismantled States of America).

I wonder.....if the true Americans that fought and bled for this country, will stand by and allow this effrontery to take place. Well, only time will tell. Go Mueller!!!

Geez, Louise! That's why I posted it. Nothing like holding up a mirror to the ludicrous Republicans who flip-flop faster than a McDonald's Nothing burger flipper (see what I did there? Funny stuff, ha!)

The video camera does not lie. There you have Nunes and Ryan talking shit about the importance of surveillance one minute, and then doing a complete about-face the next.

"Well officer, I didn't see the license plate of the maniac whizzing past me, but I do seem to have a crick in my neck. That fucker was going backwards on the freeway."

Hypocrisy much!?

Fixed it for you. Except the spelling error.

But that problem with voting for FISA 702 and then supporting the memo's release? PLUS the problem of the FISA Court almost never turning down requests? I already posted about it.

But where were YOU, when FISA was being discussed? Did you have any objections THEN? When it comes up again, where will YOU stand? OR is this just a cheap partisan trick on your part, only noticing a problem when you can tag it to the "other side", and failing to address it when the ball is in your court? (I vote for "cheap partisan trick" on your part. None of you have ever demonstrated an ethical stand on anything.)

I got my hands on The Memo and.....what a load of crap. A whole lot of nothing: a lot of accusations with nothing to back their claims; no specifics, just a load of innuendos. No hard facts to corroborate their claims.

There is no mention of when (what date) the Steele 'dossier" was completed and made available to the FBI; nor when the DOJ became aware of it. Plus no mention of the previous ssurveillance of Carter Page (since 2013) by the FBI due to his constant contact with Russian officials. Plus the Memo states that Steele was terminated by the FBI and suggests that Steele was "working" with them, when he was only passing on information about a possible crime in progress (I'm not sure where I heard this, but that's skinny on that "relationship".

I don't know all the details, obviously, but this "Memo" seemed to lack solid concrete evidence to support the claims mentioned throughout. Then comes the Trump denial of releasing the Dems Memo (quelle surpise), I saw that coming a mile away. Now these assholes are worried about classified info...fucking jerk-offs; beginning with the King of All Jerk-offs - Le Grand Orange.

Speaking of details, guess who else hasn't a clue. Well, I'm not going to waste any more time on this fiasco. The Dems gotta get their act together to get this fucker out of there, we're going down in flames while he twitters.
