To the best of my knowledge: The IRS is not authorized to bring charges on any US citizen unless there have been Federal Tax Laws broken. Him borrowing millions from Russian Oligarchs or any Kremlin contacts, that have the wink-wink nudge-nudge net effect of making him their b*tch, is not against any US Tax law that I know of.

Whatever Mueller found in Trump's tax returns, he will keep it secret until the GOP is a minority in the Senate. Trump's Supreme Court pick says the President can't be indicted, placing Trump above the law. Kavanaugh may reverse that opinion in order to get Senate approval, but once he is on the Court he can reverse his previous reversal because the Senate can't touch him.

Being white I can tell you the Republicans have spent decades claiming their party is not full of racists. Well now theirs no denying it. Not all are racists but as many as 25% may be and that's a lot. Then there are the tribalist who just hate democrats. They would destroy our democracy before compromising on anything. This group would include the racists. Finally, there are those who for profit do all manner of foul things and vote for those who support them.

Whats wrong with the democrats is that they always go to far left. And while doing so cater to those who would change this democracy into more of a socialist country. I believe that is driven by immigrants void of the knowledge and history of this country. What it took to build it and what it will take to maintain it. Democrats have forgotten how to represent both urban and rural populations. The democrats kowtow to the urban.

While both the republican and democratic parties bases practice tribalism both political parties contain many that are decent people. That said, thank god for the sensible middle.
