I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.


One of the things that many global-climate-shift-deniers ... and others who show disrespect for the creatures of this world ... assume that tree-huggers and whale-savers just don't like people very much. They frame the debate as people VERSUS the environment.

I view "saving the environment" more as a matter of sheer survival. Imagine that there is a race of people living in a space ship that was constructed so long ago, nobody remembers what it was or how it works. But they don't mind wrenching bits of the machinery out to make bowls and necklaces, or collecting mounds of the shiniest bits as symbols of wealth. How long, do you think, they will survive?
