1) Maybe you haven't noticed, but the Soviet Union doesn't exist anymore. The entire leadership, economy, alliances, and system of government (Now! With multi-party elections!) have changed since then. It's not even realistic to tag Russia with what the Soviet Union did back then. That's like saying that Belgium is an imperial power because it once colonized the (Belgian) Congo.

2) Even if I were to accept that point (which I don't) would you care to stack up America's record of invasions/ destabilizations against USSR/Russia's, since 1979???

I'm busy this week, so I may have to drop this discussion, but you kind of shot yourself in the foot with that particular point.

You seemed to be bouncing off the walls and have a bit more spite and irrationality in your posts than usual.

I'm not going to accuse you of anything, or even tell you that you shouldn't be doing it. I'm not one of "those" types of people who finally fix themselves and then start judging other people who suffer from the same thing after the fact.

What I will do, however, is offer you somebody to talk to about it if you need to. I work a lot of nights, so I wouldn't be here all the time, but I'm off a lot of nights as well and do frequent this site quite a bit when I'm not working.
