This is well within the territory of a false flag attack. The story of a large volume of liquid that somehow completely stuck on a doorknob, that an intensely deadly nerve agent took a minimum of 6 hours to take effect, that neither victim was killed - in fact both are expected to make a full recovery, that all poisonings and suspicious deaths of expat Russians have taken place in Britain and nowhere else, that no one has seen either of the Skripals since the incident ... it makes no sense as a Russian operation.

So the 2 GRU poisoners are being questioned and it's getting just as absurd: "Our friends had been suggesting for a long time that we visit this wonderful town," they say about why they were in Salisbury. Riiiiight... so why did you not take any pictures on your lovely vacation? They claimed "we went there to see Stonehenge, Old Sarum, but we couldn’t do it because there was muddy slush everywhere." Locals say it's almost always muddy slush everywhere and that's precisely why there are so many man-made dry paths and dry roads to handle the influx of tourists.

There was something incredibly hinky about these two people. They had some very rehearsed ... and yet very clumsy ... answers to questions about, well, everything.

They ran a nutritional supplements business but didn't want to provide any more answers because they didn't want to expose their partners.

What about that business?
It was supplements for "gainers" and muscle building and fat loss ... They went abroad to see what was being offered in the west and then tried to figure out how to uh... import them.

Why did they travel to Switzerland frequently?
For business. But for pleasure. But mostly for business.
[And then they provided an elaborate and unasked-for explanation as to why they shared a hotel room]

Why are they always seen together?
[No real answer]

Why did the CCTV show them entering the security gate at the exact same time?
They didn't know.

Do they ever use different gates?
No.

What do they want to happen now?
Well, they want to be left alone. (look carefully at each other) For now.

Their answers to why they were in Salisbury and their belabored explanation as to HOW THE CANCELED PUBLIC TRANSPORT (You DID know that bus and train service was temporarily halted due to weather, right??? It wasn't just "a little slush" that they were dealing with.) interfered with their plans ... wasn't the only hinky thing about their answers!

So.

It seems to me that these guys have something - or more than one thing - to hide:

1) They might be gay. While legal in Russia, it's still not widely acceptable.

2) They might be running a marginally-legal business for a marginally-acceptable clientele. Maybe they buy samples from abroad, and reformulate at home (intellectual property). Maybe they don't pay the right taxes. Maybe their products are geared towards gay males, maybe even some sort of herbal concoctions geared towards ameliorating the symptoms of AIDS or enhance sexual performance.

3) Who knows why they were in Salisbury? Whatever the reason, it probably wasn't the one that they gave.

GIVEN ALL THAT ... it's very possible that MI6 tagged two Russian civilians who were engaged in petty crime, and tagged them with the poisoning on the assumption that they would never come forward because their OTHER crimes would be exposed.

4) I would think that if they were security agents, they would be MUCH better liars and have a MUCH better story! But if you REALLY wanted to create a deep conspiracy, maybe they're Russian agents and are just really good at covering up their REAL agenda with a whole 'nother layer of fakery.

Those are my ideas. But I still think that you should watch the whole interview. maybe you'll see something that I didn't, and come up with better ideas.
