Lets not forget the governorships that are up for grabs. I think the dems do good there. I think the house falls to the dems and the republicans may pick up some senate seats. T

In other wordz, he coud hav had the GoPs win every rase, completely taken over Congress and all the other offisez that were voted on, but that woud be so obvious that it woud fors action. Insted, let the Demz take the house, but just enuf to keep from razing suspicion. Sum uv the Guvernorz rasez that were close, tweek them to put the GoP ahed by a small amount. A solid stratejy. Its wut I woud do.

Had Trump been a different man – less self-consumed, less needy – he might have hedged his bets as the midterms neared and not have made the election about himself. He got the attention he craved and will pay the political price. His life is about to get more difficult.

For a president who is good at narrative-building and blame-shifting — two practices at which Trump excels — facing an opposition party that holds a modicum of power can actually make the president more popular. His agenda might encounter more difficulty than before, but now there is always someone else who the president can blame. Still, Obama lost 1000 democratic seats across the country in 8 years. Trump gave a third of those back, three hundred and thirty three seats, in his first two years of service. The republicans got destroyed. I'm quoting an article below from December 2017. Thanks Trump and by the way tick tock "After years of strong gains in states across the country, Republicans now fear they stand to lose hundreds of state legislative seats in next year’s midterm elections if there is a significant voter backlash against President Trump." https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/364576-republicans-fear-deep-losses-in-2018-elections

Quote:North Dakota joined the Union in November 1889 and has participated in all elections from 1892 onwards. Since 1900, North Dakota voted Democratic 17.24 percent of the time and Republican 82.76 percent of the time. Since 1968, the state has always voted Republican.
Quote:South Dakota is reliably Republican in presidential elections – only voting Democratic four times, most recently in 1964 when Lyndon Johnson won a landslide victory over Barry Goldwater. South Dakota is one of seven states with the minimum three electoral votes.
