Lawyers expect ex-Obama counsel to be indicted in case linked to Mueller probe

(CNN)Attorneys for Greg Craig, a prominent Democratic lawyer and former White House counsel in the Obama administration, said Wednesday evening that they expect him to be indicted by federal prosecutors in a case that stems from special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.
An indictment against Craig connected to work he performed for Ukraine while he was a partner at the high-profile law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP has been expected for several weeks, and CNN reported in late March that prosecutors were close to bringing a case over what they allege were false statements made by Craig.
The case is significant not only because of Craig's reputation as a legal heavyweight but also because it has its origins in the Justice Department's newfound taste for prosecutions connected to a once-obscure law, the Foreign Agents Registration Act, which is used to pursue cases of individuals acting as unregistered foreign agents. It is also notable because while most of the cases charged as a result of Mueller's investigation concerned Republicans connected to President Donald Trump, Craig is a Democrat.

SIGNYM

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Indicted for doing what Manafort did: work for the Yanukovich (Ukrainian) government, and not declare it.

So did the Podestas. However, the Podestas had the benefit of a "head's up" from either the DOJ and/or FBI, and filed ammended reports several years after the fact, but before the indictment process could get rolling.

Well, we already knew Obama and Hilliary colluded with Russia to influence the Election.
But not sure if this is connected. Process Crime, caught in Perjury Trap. Trump, Cohen, were also lifelong Democrats.
How many decades ago was this Ukraine work performed?

If the Justice Department stomps these people into the ground, it would be the law doing what it is suppose to do - prosecuting, rather than excusing:

1) Greg Craig, a prominent Democratic lawyer
2) Manafort for not declaring he worked for the Yanukovich government
3) Hillary for emails
4) Trump for tax cheating "I can't be prosecuted for cheating four years ago while I'm being audited for last year. It won't be legal!" - D. Trump

Companies owned by Trump are not immune to tax cheating prosecution, even if he is.

Craig left the white house in 2010.

He's in trouble for working with Manafort, a well-know criminal and Republican.

More Russian troll propaganda that ties Obama, once again, to nothing.

Keep typing, comrades! Someday, maybe, you might type something true.
