Funny thing - I was going to reply to that comment of his by saying that would only make the divide in this country even greater, which would only play into Putin's hands. Just didn't, mainly because I doubt second would care what I or anyone here had to say about what he said. He doesn't strike me as the kind of person who looks to others for advice - so why bother?

The question for Mueller has always been whether Russia interfered in an election (it did), whether Trump benefited (he did), and whether he tried to stymie the investigation into this concern (he did). All of that was laid bare on Wednesday for anyone who was listening. Trump campaign members were exchanging polling data with Russian intelligence operatives and hosting meetings at Trump Tower in order to obtain “dirt” on Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Trump was lying about all the Russia contacts before he was even caught lying about it.

Mueller was originally charged with investigating Russian efforts to influence the outcome of the 2016 election. Only later was he tasked with figuring out whether the president had obstructed justice by impeding that investigation. The whole point of this sad affair — lost entirely on a Law & Order nation intent on seeing either Trump in handcuffs or exonerated — was that Russia hacked an election, that it is right now hacking the next election, and that this is a threat to national security and representative democracy. On this one point, Mueller was emphatic: “They’re doing it as we sit here, and they expect to do it in the next campaign.”

1) The Kremlin-based Internet Research Agency (IRA). The IRA's case is being decided in court, even as we post. So far, Mueller's "case" against the IRA is so evidence-free that the presiding judge, Judge Dabney Freidrich, has banned Mueller, BY COURT ORDER, from even insinutating that the IRA had Kremlin connections. She deemed such utterances as "prejudicial". This isn't the only time when Mueller flubbed thi case. There are too many citations for this ruling, but here are just a few

2) Wikileaks publication of DNC/ Podesta emails. Assange told the press that he had the emails BEFORE Guccifer2.0 ever contacted him. Mueller never talked to Assnge.

Mueller never talked to Assange. Mueller never examined the DNC servers. The only "evidence" that Mueller can come up with is from Crowdstrike, an anti-Russian DNC-paid contractor. Once again, the "evidence" that Mueller points to evporates on examination.

Now, I haven't spoken to a lawyer on the matter of inernet libel. But hey, you're the guy with the big bucks. Why don't you consult with your lawyers and check out your legal exposure?
