The U.S. Navy confirmed this week that three online videos appearing to show UFOs are actually real.

For the first time since the videos made national news in 2017, the Navy is confirming the content of the videos. Navy spokesperson Joseph Gradisher told "The Black Vault (John Greenwald)," and Vice's The Motherboard that "the Navy considers the phenomena contained/depicted in those 3 videos as unidentified."

Here's what we know about these UFOs or UAPs:

are-real-what-we-know

I just wanna say that despite the announcement, I'm still a bit skeptical about the ' To the Stars Academy ' and how all of this has played out.

However, it's damn curious to say the least that 3 vids come out, dating back to 2004 , and the Navy basically says ' they're real, but we don't know what we're seeing '. They know what they aren't seeing, and that's any sort of craft that is known ( officially ) to man.

So that's nice.

Yeah, this stuff is breaking, not simply a rehashing of old news. The videos came out in 2017, but the Navy just this week admitted they were authentic, and had no explanation of what all these ' tic tac ' vehicles were.

They weren't know developmental aircraft from the military. They weren't ' triangle' shaped ships that moved in the night w/ strange lights...

Could this be a shell game move by our gov't ? Maybe.

I don't think our gov't is that smart to pull this off in any convincing fashion, but it's possible.

Even though Pluto was officially downgraded from planetary status over a decade ago, fans of the solar system's underdog are still rooting for the small cosmic body. Case in point: NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine, who stepped into the long-standing debate over Pluto's planethood during press remarks on Friday (Aug. 23).

"Just so you know, in my view, Pluto is a planet, and you can write that the NASA administrator declared Pluto a planet once again, Bridenstine said during a FIRST robotics event in Colorado this week.

That verdict goes against the official decision made by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) back in 2006, which resulted from a vote among astronomers.

But much to Pluto fans' delight, Bridenstine reiterated his dedication. Pluto is a planet, he said. "I'm sticking by that. It's the way I learned it, and I'm committed to it."

We'll just add UFO to the list of stuff they're going to bring back. In the mean time, let's just see how many people we know besides know it all college kid jerk offs go around calling it UAFs until they make the declaration to dump the new name.

Maybe its just another top secret science project, the left hand does not know what the right hand does ... or its an event we can not quantify so they calle it 'UAP' or or its ALIENS

If they exist and thats a big 'IF' with a lot of philosophy and science questions that would come later

....if, 'they' maybe them, aaaaaand ... if we look at time over all in the physical universal scale, there are millions of years of events, fish, repitles, birds, insects other animals, we are the blink of an eye, there are billions of years of the know Universe we are trying to re-record it through our digging through history our modern science, maybe aliens did see Earth once upon a time

Yet....If an alien exists, it might not be so powerful, it could be a dot of bacteria on some smoky moon or microbe on Mars
or 'they' could be 'advanced' could have been advanced...but in past times
To a primitive man the alien might seem almost like gods or magical

They could be like a distant alien memory, foreign robots from exo planet worlds or alien A.I from a civilization that has long died or moved on, imagine some Sptunik or Some Euro Japan science experiment or NASA Mars rover, it is still moving checking things out long after we all have moved on or evolved or died

Anyway 'UAP' exists or so the Military admits

Watching the vids, and assuming this isn't some vast con game by members of our govt - *( more on that later ), we're talking about dozens of ' tic tac ' vehicles here, not just one.

Not only do they travel at speeds hard to comprehend, but they also make stops and turns on a dime, as well as 'fly' underwater, with barely any change from one atmo to another.

Also, in the case of the Nimitz sighting, there was another, larger object, just under the water, which crew of both planes saw. WTH was that ?

* The big sticking point for me on all of this is Tom Delonge's group, To the Stars Academy. It's essentially a movie production company, and not much else. So how exactly did they get their hands on these videos ? The 'Academy ' is full of FORMER gov't employees, which makes me wonder... why quit a cushy gov't job to work for a fringe movie production company ? And how does our govt ' allow ' them to work so freely, if indeed they're privy to deep dark secrets ?

Tom Delonge's group will forever be Blink 182.

Did anybody debunk that ridiculous jetpack in France yet?

Aside from the hundred other reasons that Physics won't allow that to be a real thing, nobody I know ever heard about it yet. Pretty sure that would be more interesting on a headline than some other lie about Trump.

The videos available for it in use either have the production budget of a new star wars movie, or are so bad looking that they look like the hovercraft from 1977 Star Wars.

At the end of the day, for all the talk about ‘ To the stars Academy’ , the real question comes back to… What the hell are those TicTac things anyway?

To me, that is what the government doesn’t want us to worry about, and sure as hell they don’t want us to ask about. Because either they don’t know, and that makes them look incompetent. Or worse.

They do know.

The videos come from 2004 and 2015. Whatever Trump wants to do does not explain what is on those videos. I know it’s fun and clever to be glib, but we still don’t have answers.

What I find even more curious is that nobody really wants to tackle these questions. Clearly not here on this board, but neither do those in the media. And I haven’t even heard one damn thing about the storming of area 51, which is nothing but a joke anyways.

It’s all been about fake climate change crisis strike day, which really is nothing but wag the dog.

I'd love to think it would be exciting to find out that aliens existed and were among us, but I think if that's the case they're already deeply engrained in our corporate and political systems. If it's actually time that we, the idiot masses, are let in on the little secret, I can't imagine that there is any reason that would be good for any of us.

It either means that going back is too late, or we're going to find out that most of us are expendable in whatever plans they have.

There could be a security element to this -

theatlantic.com/ had an article

there are many other similar and different stories on the web ... but

This one could just be a story, out there on the tinfoil blogs or conspiracy sites

Here is something to consider, for the past 40 years both at American sites, US military bases and the old Soviet and new Russian bases and mnay sites of many many bases. They have reports of alien probes, little green or silver drones or multi colored balls of bright energy.

These alien 'Objects' hover over sites, scan or probes sites and have even Hacked missiles sending them into Launch mode
only the last fraction of a second to be shut down and prevent a nuclear disaster

Companies and Agency and groups are not allowed talk they say, the hush hush even in America, you dare not talk about it just like old Communist Russia? Captain Salas states he was spoke of a saucer-shaped craft at a very close distance. Happened in Ukraine once upon technological time, Russia and other former Soviet states it has happened to they say, "the equipment went into combat readiness mode," the Journalists of "Life" found unique documents about this state of emergency and found eyewitnesses of an alien attack. Life Magazine, Russian news outlets, ABC News program Prime Time Live, they lost control of a missle, 15 seconds pass and panic and chaos, but then sudddenly all of the controls reset to the normal position, Minot a guy named Schuur had to manually enter a launch 'Inhibit' command.

the official word now is 'UAP'

Kinda. Yeah.

I'm just applying Occam's Razor to it right now. It's almost definitely just our military getting caught too many times flying shit around that was man-made. That alone is concerning, but really, what are you or the dude from Blink 182 going to do about it either way? I'm far more concerned with the prospect of our government shutting down free speech and using tech like this to spy on us 24/7.

If it is aliens, I'll cross that bridge when we get there. I still think the only reason we'd be let in on the secret is because it's far too late for us to do anything about it. Hell... if they've been living among us since the 60's or even earlier, a great deal of our population might already have mixed DNA with the alien species already.

All I know for sure is that it's not good news if they're going to actually tell us about it now after decades of secrecy. This is one coming out of the closet party I'm not going to RSVP to.

I've never heard accounts of self launching missiles in connection with those strange lights hovering over bases. To quote Wash... " That sounds like science fiction "

But honestly, why would they even need to be with in close proximity of a silo, and put on such a visual display of their presence ? They could just remotely hack the missiles, w/ out being anywhere near them, seems to me. Unless the idea is to make clear to us humans what ' they ' could do and send us a clear message. Seems far fetched to me.

Caught the tail end of an interview on the radio ( not Coast to Coast ) where the guest was telling the host that the videos in question were just a small sample of what the DOD had, and that there was considerably more that we're not being told. The guest wasn't some UFO 'expert', not a Bob Lazar type, so he wasn't trying to sell a book or anything. Nor was he from ' To the stars academy '.

He didn't say ' aliens ', but made it clear, what ever this stuff is, it's beyond our govt's technology and understanding.

If there is some super deep black project that our own military doesn't know about, then there truly is some crazy stuff going on.

He's making huge coin off of it, or trying to, no matter what's going on.

I can't decide what if anything I can do until I know more. And there's the kicker... how can I possibly know more than what we're being fed ?

I guess I can't, so … best I can do is speculate. Maybe poke around and see what others are saying.

Here's the thing. I've been a partial supporter and general fan of SETI for 25 years. My view is that , what ever intelligent life is out there, assuming there is, we'd at least find SOIME signal, some sign of their past existence via radio telescopes. We put out signals ourselves all the time, and have been doing so, for nearly 100 years, so yeah... new kids on the block and all, but still.

Point is, I don't buy that ETs have or are visiting our planet. The distances are just too vast for that sort of thing to happen. And my mind won't be changed until we get something tangible that we know isn't from our planet. So far, we have these unexplained incidents. Nothing we can touch and hold and say ' this ain't from around here '.

But these 'craft', vehicles, don't seem to move in a manner which conforms to our physical world. That, or they're somehow manipulating the field of gravity, which must take some wicked huge amount of power, yet these tic tacs aren't all that big...

You know, they kinda remind me of how we toy with a cat or dog, while using a laser pointer. All they see is a dot on the wall, the ceiling, and try to 'catch' the dot. Only they can't, and we laugh as they try to work out wtf is going on.

Just a random thought.

In light of the Cold War, and what was and still is at stake, I get it. Mystery, secrecy and diversion are fine weapons to use when trying to keep the other side guessing. Most of us don't think in terms as do the military, and for good reason. They have a job far different than the rest of us. They screw up, we get stuff like 9-11 and Pearl Harbor, but far worse. And that's just from the enemies we know.

These videos get released, our navy says they're real, and then say ' oops, we didn't mean for those to get out '. Really ? Was that them admitting they screwed up, or are they just letting us ( and our enemies ) think they screwed up ?

TBH, the track record of those in 'military intelligence ' and the great thinkers in the Pentagon , etc... haven't shown me they're that smart to fool us, but that too could be part of the ruse.

There are a million and 1 things I can focus on besides this stuff. But until something gets resolved on this , it'll always be here to toy with, I guess.

I did. I watched it with Michio then being questioned about it. He doesn't discount it's aliens. He talked about all the planets out there and the possibilities. He also suggested the missiles and yes, they can turn on a dime. Check them out on YouTube. But, and it's a big but. Until he sees prof and this is not prof. He also has a suggestion for you. The next time you're abduted steal something from the alien's.

Nothing we can touch and hold and say ' this ain't from around here '.

I'm glad to hear that. I bet for every single person who grew up a scifi fan there's some part of them that wants alien visitation to be true, but try and do a reverse engineer on it. Why the f*ck would advanced civilization come down to buzz our airforce? If they are that advanced I would think they'd have the power to easily surveil us safely from space. Think of the detail in our orbiting satellites and times it by 1000. No doubt they could hear everything we say IF they had that tech.

I'd put a lot more faith in software or hardware glitches and anomolies. The specks move in almost mathematical precision - an optical digital error could work the same way. There's no detail. There's no way to tell what the heck this is with the naked eye, and that's why I think the Navy felt safe in showing these. Something shiny to wave at the gullible masses.

Next time ? It'll be the first. Just more proof that you only read what you want, and ignore the rest. I clearly stated above that I don't believe ET's have made it to Earth. We've yet to make any contact, to the best of my knowledge.

As for missiles turning on a dime... they don't. They do make sharp turns, yes, but not @ 90 degrees, hover , and then shoot off as fast as they eye can track, leaving no vapor/ exhaust trail behind them.

These things do.

First, the whole premise of this thread is to perpetuate something about the videos that is incorrect. And I quote "They know what they aren't seeing, and that's any sort of craft that is known ( officially ) to man." And you know this because they certainly aren't any new stealth technology or 6th generation aircraft right. I've posted a video showing missiles can turn on a dime. And this is what we know of.

Wait for it:

It's not " incorrect " . OFFICIALLY, as has been released to the public, we don't know what this is. Stealth ? That's harldy the issue here.

Honestly, why are you plying board contrarian when you have zero to offer other than ' nuh uh ' !

I'm asking questions. You're the one making baseless claims that I somehow believe this is ALIEN tech, and nothing else could be possible.

Not an ounce of curiosity by you, at all ?

Pity.

Wait for it.

( These aren't missiles )

Your video is a CG video , not RL. Freaking waste of time

CG so you don't believe it; OK. Here's one in flight. 1 minutes 30 seconds in. If you keep up on this stuff you would be a bit less gullible. Impressive how you can eliminate any chance these may be missiles when Michio Kaku a professor of theoretical physics in the City College of New York suggests it is a possibility.

I would add that because I am more in touch with why our government wants to know about UFO's, i.e. what new capabilities our advisories may have, along with my understanding of what technology is available now as well as what's coming, shows I am quite a bit more inquisitive than you. It's amazing how many UFO's are spotted around our military bases. You know, like area 51 where so much new technology is being tested.

It either means that going back is too late, or we're going to find out that most of us are expendable in whatever plans they have.

Don't mean to be glib, but not many things surprise me or pique my curiosity these days. I've got enough shit to worry about. I let everybody else worry about the end of the world.

Riiiight... they have that kind of advanced technology and they're going to use it to fly all this way to get, "deeply engrained in our corporate and political systems."

"I can't wait 'til we get jobs on earth!"

Dear gawd.

lol.

So you're open to the possibility that there are little green men, but not to the idea that they'd prefer to slowly infiltrate our society rather than all out devastation and war?

You have very little imagination.

You don't get it. I'm suggesting to you that after all these years and all the so called presented evidence that aliens have visited us, none, none amounts to anything more than unidentified. A fuzzy jumpy video.

Add to that their apparent fear of letting us know their here by only letting us capture fuzzy jumpy video of their presence. I know, ask god to speak to them about coming out of the closet. And please, speak to jack the moron who believes they look like us, speak like us, and probably live among us.

You're confusing my comments with other posts.

I never declared " aliens " .

All I've ever asked is... what are these things ?

If the best you have is " they sorta kinda resemble missiles ", but we know they aren't , where's that leave us ?

Back to what ARE these things ?

Why would I say such a thing ?

Welp, because when folks whose JOB is to identify potential threats, and do nothing but run drills and stay at their ready to deal with ANYTHING face an " unknown " like this, it matters to them. They are expected to determine what, if any potential threat these objects are, and yet... they can't.

My mammalian hominid brain can only offer a few explanations...

1. Natural phenomena. What , how , why ? Dunno. Just new things we've not seen, and have yet to explain.

2. hoax. never mind what the navy said, or anyone claims, it's all one big con game. Reasons, unknown. Just isn't real. Sorry.

3. Not a hoax. Something though. One of ours, which we're not letting the military in on, because that's how black ops roll. ( and yes, Stargate is real )

4. Not a hoax. Not ours, at all. Belongs to some foreign country, or organization - Spectre like. Either super tricky hoax gear they've got , to fool us, or they really do have modern physics defying tech.

5. Not ours, or anyone. Here on Earth, that is. Yes. Actual aliens. There. I said it.

6. Inter dimensional whoozits. Living ? A.I. ? Both ? Neither. Beyond my ability to grasp. Hell, they may barely even know we're here.

7. Us, but far in the future ( or past ? ) Timey wimey stuff. Reasons unknown, until and unless they tell us, one way or another.

That's all I got.

Briefly,

It takes decades before we find out the characteristics and capabilities of Top Secret aircraft.

One of the versions of Haboo could be one of these.

Yes, we have hovering boardsa and trains.

Oh my god rappy you were right. There's been another sighting and this time it's not a fuzzy video. Nope, no doubt about it. Proof positive extraterrestrials exist and are here.

Look, it's the Borg...

We're 70+ years since ' foo fighters ' were spotted, and still no closer to any sort of explanation.

I found this ( well, YouTube recommended it to me ) , because I susbscribe to the channel. Usually Jimmy ( the host ) talks about ancient lost civilizations. I guess ET's would technically qualify ?

* 8:15 on the video, in particular.

Interesting to see this honest skeptic had to day 2 years ago, and compare it to what was revealed over the summer.

I had no idea so many astronauts had been so candid and forthcoming about UFO's being out there.

I think Greta needs to be worried about other things instead of c02 in the atmo.

I don't doubt that Greta could learn enough Chinese to give a speech in front of an assembly, but it's not like she can sail her high tech Green catamaran there to shame them. Assuming she doesn't land in Taiwan and get tank rolled by mistake.

The Drake Equation suggests there's life, and even intelligent life, but unlikely we'd ever bump into them, or them us.

And yet, we have these sightings of lights and radar images...

If not ET's, what ?

Dismiss alien encounters all you want, but that still leaves the question unanswered.
