I have been thinking for a while that they should be rounded up en masse (dragnet or cordon) and charged as party to every crime that the mob perpetrated. In most States, any party to a crime is guilty of the murder if one occurred during or resulting from the crime (even if they were just the getaway driver). This should be applied to rioters as well. Anybody possessing a lazer device (pointer) should be jailed for asssaulting and bodily injury to a Federal Officer/Agent. Of course, this will result in Lazer devices littering the ground during round-ups, but it's a start. Everybody else who did not disperse when directed gets arson, assault, attempted murder, attempted negligent homicide, and whatever else the group did under cloak/cover of group anonymity.

6ix, you are a chicken running around with its head cut off. Prosecutors do NOT charge individuals with the laser pointer crimes of a mob because juries won't convict. Juries need proof that this particular laser, entered as evidence, was in the hands of this particular defendant, as witnessed by somebody under oath to tell the truth. The injured cop has to come to court, as does his doctor, to testify about that his retina was burned by that defendant. A prosecutor won't take the case when there are hundreds of defendants for one or a dozen eye injuries. 6ix, you are delusional if you think courts in America will punish hundreds of your political enemies in one massive trial so that you can sleep better.
