I see everyday why the "thinking" that 99% of Americans do won't get what they want. There are so many extremely simple things they can't/won't even try to comprehend until it is too late and their lives are flooded with woe. To them, it seems like random bad luck. To me, it's predictable what happened to them and how they could have avoided the disasters they live in. There are, for example, flood maps to tell them where not to live: ( www.harriscountyfemt.org ) 99% of Americans have never seen a flood map. If Trump heard about flood maps, he'd tear them up because maps interfere with real estate speculation. So long as it is not raining, Trump and 99% of Americans don't care where floods will be according to the maps. Like flood maps, there are nuclear weapons treaties to save lives. 99% of Americans know nothing about those treaties ( www.documentcloud.org/documents/2165399-full-text-of-the-iran-nuclear-
deal ). Trump has torn up every treaty he can. So long as the nukes are not raining down from the sky, Trump can get away with no treaties protecting Americans. Then there is Covid-19. You have to be a very stubborn American not to understand it, but still, most don't. At least it is not 99% not understanding. Trump has torn up masks as he has torn up much else. So long as the coronavirus doesn't fall from sky on you, all is well, at least as far ahead as many Americans can "think".
