Normally the VERY FIRST of the Triple Crown races, held early May (when all of those other sports like baseball playoffs, Basketball playoffs, Football, Golf championships, etc are competing for viewers). With open hopes of there being another Triple Crown Winner. But this year, relegated to 2nd Race, in September (competing against actual non-imaginary other sports events) and having the winner of the first race not running - thereby eliminating the possibility of any Triple Crown Winner.

I just realized that when Jeopardy was running the Aaron Rodgers show, I didn't see any of the contestants kneeling.

AR is the QB for Green Bay Packers, and part owner of Milwaukee Bucks.
And he has made comments supporting BLM, and Packers have allowed kneeling, or abstaining by staying in the Locker Room during the National Anthem.

So I should have been surprised to not see kneeling.
That will likely be the last time I watch shows with him this year.

If you don't do that, and they go back to doing dumb shit, you've got nobody but yourself to blame for it.

I could easily go the rest of my life without watching another sporting event. But I already made that decision when they decided making your average season game unaffordable for most families to attend was a good business idea.

For the money these goons make every year, not only should steroids be legalized, but they should be mandatory. I want home run races up to 250 in a season. I want at least one football player carried out on a stretcher every game. I want backboards shattered at least twice per game, with backups and a crew on hand that can fix it as fast as a pit crew changes tires. That's the only thing getting me to watch them ever again.

Leave the purity for the Olympics, College Games and other amateur sports. "Pro" sports needs to embrace the clown show that they've already turned it into.

Covid didn't kill sports, but it might be the final nail in the coffin.

I don't want to over-generalize, because I'm sure that there are a reasonable amount of decent people who are professional athletes, but a LOT of them are among the shittiest people in the world.

A majority of families can't even go to any games live anymore because they've been priced out of it. And for what? To watch assholes getting paid in 2 hours 10 to 100 times what you're going to make that entire year while trying to shove agendas down your throat?
