My neighbor said he was so disappointed in the nearly half of this country that can only whine about how hard it is to wear a mask in public. "When I look at the sacrifices other generations have had to make for this country... sheesh."

In high school I once wanted to be a surgical technician (specifically in neuro), then my health issues made that obsolete. I can't imagine dealing with hay fever and trying to pass a scalpel now. (Now you know why

is my favorite emoji).

In a way, I'm grateful for the issues that I didn't end up going to college and trying to pay that off, and also because I now realize how much it takes to deal with people in a normal setting, let alone when they are terrified or in mortal pain.

The medical profession has my respect for all they do in dealing with Covid.
I'm still irritated at our medical system for its graft and systemic ignorance, but that's a fight for another day...
