That would be a 'no'.

The takeaway - Obama was saying he was going to close GITMO 3 years AFTER he dismantled the office tasked with doing that.

Can you say LIE?

Sure you can.

I didn't lie, fuknut, and neither did Obama. He found out it was harder than he thought - oh no! Executive order?? You mean like Dump? Just another simpleton who thinks you can just sign a document and every road block and problem will magically disappear. How's that wall coming? So, yep, runaway again.

It's not "contacts" like an address book, you stupid door stop. And this was only part of a larger list of EVIDENCE. And you looked at... one? Hope you didn't hurt your brain. I get it though - There's. Just. So. Much. EVIDENCE!

WHICH SOMEHOW NEVER MADE IT INTO MUELLER'S INVESTIGATION???

BALONEY.

JUST MORE DISHONEST POSTING FROM THE MC OF LIES HIMSELF.

It's not a lie or dishonest no matter how many times you post that. Did you cross check the list with the Mueller Report? No, of course not. Did you magically read the redacted parts of the report? No, of course not. Did you even try and refute any of the near hundreds of connections between Trump and Russia on that list? No, of course not - because you can't. And that's not even the whole list, just from 2015.

But - take your time, have another look. It'd be fun to see how you spin (lie) your way out of some of those, like: "They never met!" How could you or Kiki possibly know that?

Ooooooh. Big bad RUSSIA!!!

As you may recall, the one Russian company that Mueller indicted demanded its day in court along with the EVIDENCE against it, and Mueller's prosecutors folded their tents and quietly stole away in the night.

Why?

It's super-easy to throw accusations but accusations don't make a case, EVIDENCE does. So either their "evidence" was non-existent, just a bunch of made-up bullshit like Iraqi9-11/terroristtrainingcamp/yellowcake/wmd baloney (Just, yanno, a reminder that governments DO make up shit whole cloth, and the media runs with it for years on end!) or, on balance, exposing the "threat" from these "Russian operations" was too paltry to risk exposing their source and not a real threat at all.

I'm going with Option #1, but either way, this smells like one big giant disinfo campaign.

I guess it's far easier for the DNC, and far safer for the deep state and anti-populists in general, to blame Big Bad Russia for taking out a few ads and sending out a few tweets than to look into their souls and understand that THEY are the problem that led to Trump's election!

But then, if they recognized that, and they TRULY wanted to solve the problem, they would give up their seats of power and great wealth and go back to being ordinary working people ... and, they couldn't have that, could that could they?

Russia isn't particularly bad. It did what it did for perfectly understandable reasons. But what was bad, and got the Mueller investigation rolling in the first place, was Trump firing whats-his-name, the head of the FBI for investigating Russia. Then Trump went really over the top by threatening to fire everybody in the FBI and Mueller. That was crazy. Three years later, the Senate found Russia interfering in the election, as did Mueller, but Trump, who has got to be crazy, keeps saying they found nothing. And Trump is having his revenge on Biden because the Russians were investigated. That is Trump being double or triple crazy:

Trump told an ally that he knows he lost, but that he is delaying the transition process and is aggressively trying to sow doubt about the election results in order to get back at Democrats for questioning the legitimacy of his own election in 2016, especially with the Russia investigation, a source familiar with the President's thinking told CNN on Thursday.

Now according to JO - AND YOU, CC - not just some of the people on the wiki list but ALL of the people on the wiki list played an active role in facilitating Trump colluding with Russia.

DISPROVING 10? Easy peasy. Just off the top I found roughly 50. I even highlighted some of the more easily recognized names. But the most completely laughable inclusion was Richard Nixon - yes - THE Richard Nixon, not some accidental namesake. Nixon, according to you all, came all the way back from death to help Trump collude with Russia. And after that, Barrack Obama. And the most ironic was Robert Mueller. The second most ironic I'd give to Hillary Clinton.

Should Biden Pardon Trump for the same reason Ford Pardoned Nixon?

https://web.archive.org/web/20201129130528/https://www.houstonchronicl
e.com/opinion/outlook/article/Pitts-I-am-not-disappointed-in-Donald-Trump-15753986.php

Gerald Ford was right. It was years before I understood that.

I was 17 years old on the day in 1974 when the 38th president pardoned the 37th, Richard Nixon, for his crimes in the Watergate affair. Like millions of others — like Ford’s own press secretary, who resigned in protest — I was disgusted by this largesse.

It wasn’t until years later that I came to see it as an act of political courage, freeing the country to move on from a sordid affair that had left us mesmerized and paralyzed. As Ford put it, had Nixon gone to trial, “ugly passions would again be aroused, our people would again be polarized in their opinions.”

I’ve also come to believe the sight of a former president, a symbol of the nation after all, in a prison jumpsuit, would have been emotionally corrosive — even for those who think it wouldn’t, even for those who gleefully anticipated it, even for those who loathed him.

You may think all this is offered by way of explaining why I think President-elect Joe Biden should pardon Donald Trump. It’s actually offered to explain why I think he should not. The idea of pardoning Trump — which Biden has already rejected — has been kicking around the pundit sphere quite a bit recently, proposed by everyone from columnists E.J. Montini and David Leibowitz to former Trump aide Anthony Scaramucci and former House Judiciary Committee counsel Michael Conway.

Well, I’m here to join them in kicking the idea around. And down the stairs. And out the front door. And into traffic where, with any luck, an 18-wheeler is barreling down the street. Because 2020 is not 1974. Here are four reasons:

One: The idea that Biden should do this, as Ford did, to heal the country, is ludicrous on its face. There is no healing in this. A pardon would only infuriate the left and cripple Biden’s presidency while emboldening the ever-more lawless right. And not for nothing, but why is it always the left that is called upon to soothe the right’s hurt feelings? Liberals have feelings, too.

Two: Nixon was a Boy Scout next to this guy. He “only” tried to subvert the Constitution. Trump can be credibly accused of that, plus extortion, treason, tax fraud, bank fraud, obstruction of justice, campaign-finance violations and sexual assault. To let him off is to say none of that has meaning.

Three: No one lionized Nixon; no mass movement portrayed him as a hero. Indeed, even Republicans were repelled by his criminality. Trump, by contrast, has ascended to something very like a cult leader among his followers — some orange combination of Jim Jones, David Koresh and Charles Manson — and for that reason if for no other, he needs to be toppled, hard. That’s what you have to do with false idols.

Four: In 1974, no one doubted that the law matters. But in the abiding criminality of the Trump gang, that bedrock principle of American life has been smashed. Prosecuting him — and all of them — would go a long way toward reaffirming not only that law matters, but that none of us is above its reach.

Jerry Ford made a brave call in 1974. But that was 1974. And circumstances, to put it mildly, are different now. They demand that Trump answer for every crime that can be proven against him, down to and including parking tickets.

Will his followers be angry if he is prosecuted? Yes. They’ll also be angry if he’s not. For them, anger is the means, the end and the message. So they don’t need excuses for outrage. Like Trump, they thrive on chaos, upheaval and resentment. Whatever happens, they’re going to howl anyway. Might as well give them something to howl about.

President-elect Joe Biden's plea for Americans to wear masks for 100 days was met with anger and defiance from supporters of President Donald Trump, underscoring the challenge of fighting a politicized pandemic in a deeply divided nation.

President Donald Trump, who has often been seen without a face mask, has implied that wearing face masks was unnecessary.
