I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

For today, let's just focus on what we can be grateful for.

I'm happy that I have a loving family including two awesome sisters, a safe and warm place to sleep, and time to relax with hubby and dear daughter in the evening.

Also glad that a local restaurant is open and offering their traditional Thanksgiving dinner takeout with all of the trimmings so I don't have to cook a twenty different things for a family of three.

Count your blessings and give yourself a day off from agitation.

Glad you're enjoying it.

Last minute, my aunt flaked out. Nobody in my family is doing anything outside of the people they live with. Was going to go to my Grandma's since she's not a coward like the rest of the family, but the media brainwashing must have gotten to my aunt too and she decided last minute to put the kibosh on that.

I'm starting to think this whole thing is just giving millions of people the excuse they finally needed not to get together with family anymore.

May you all enjoy the fifteen minutes of eating takeout food with the ones you've been stuck with all year before you retreat to your separate rooms to bathe yourselves in the cold glow of your bright shiny rectangles for an extended weekend of Netflix binge watching.

Long winter ahead. Bundle up.

Oh, BTW REAVERBOT, the answer to Thanksgiving isn't to erase it from our calendars but to teach the TRUE history of how America was colonized.

I recall taking our then-young daughter to see Disney's Pocahontas and my comment at the time was ... rather than welcoming the pale skins, the natives should have started shooting and KEPT ON shooting (arrows, BRENDA) until there was no one left alive to take back the news of the pleasant land across the ocean
