Any predictions for how we see events unfolding in the world over the next year and beyond?

Here's mine about the US political situation:

I predict more politically tumultuous times up ahead for the US: Trump has injected a great poison into US democracy with his claims of fraud and a stolen election, and (I fear) the storming of the Capitol won't be the end or high point of the violence. I think the FBI has a busy few years ahead...

I do think support for Trump amongst *some* Republicans will fade, as they wake up to the fact that the only fraud they have been the victim of is Donald Trump himself. This process of abandoning Trump will be accelerated by the continued ugly and violent acts committed by Trump's followers, in his name. A hard core of dupes/crazies will continue to support Trump, however, foaming at the mouth about the "Deep State". The result: a GOP split roughly down the middle, divided and warring for years to come. Ivanka will bid to unite the warring factions and run for the presidency in 2024. Donald Trump will be too mired in legal difficulties/scandal/terrorism he's caused to be a realistic candidate (fingers crossed, in jail).

At first I was in denial about the make-up of the mob that attacked the capital. I thought the death toll and the embarrassment of it all would make many of them slink back to their sad little lives, satisfied that they weren't dead or arrested. But... more video I see of them, especially the close in videos - it seems more likely that have gone completely mad and there's no coming back from it. We are truly lucky that there weren't more deaths. I hope/predict that for the rest of 2021 they are hunted down and and thrown in jail without mercy. It's sad that it almost feels radical to say that.

I agree - no question in my mind that there will be assassinations and terrorist activities by American Al Qaeda in 2021.

I predict there will be a concerted effort to deprogram Q believers. I have no idea how, but I have some guesses. How much does Buffalo Hat dude like his organic bread and sunshine? Maybe he would go on tv and tell everyone what dope he was? That Q is bullsh*t?
We're still on a knife's edge though. It is alarming as fck how many Q and white nationalists there are in congress and other public service positions (police). I don't feel confident one way or the other yet. If we can start expelling some member of the house we have a chance.

I used to think Ivanka would be the heir, but I've switched to Jr. Ivanka has gone quiet lately, while Jr has stepped up his public speaking. He seems to have his father's ability to say the dumbest sh*t in public and not be embarrassed by it. I think Ivanka is more interested in being a glam queen than president ("what a headache!"). Jr.? He can't do anything well, seems to have no aptitude for the simplest things, so he might as well try and be president like his dad.

Trump - after watching his fortune melt away and everyone he knows turn on him - will die in jail from AIDS. I will start going to church if that happens.

Yeah, I'm starting to think again about Ivanka myself. Think I'll change my prediction to that she'll be the frontrunner at some point - and then implode (nature abhors a vacuum).
