Yes, the Christian moral majority types were having a field day in the 80's. But I contend that the bigger threat to over zealous social structure of the fundies is the tyrannical oppression of a Imperial Federal govt.

The former was a mere blip on the radar, while the latter... continues to grow and intrude upon our freedoms. By far the bigger danger of the 2.
