It's actually a really well thought out piece.

What's funny about it though is that he thinks what he is going through here is unique to him or his generation.

I was going to post a clip of St. Elmo's Fire that was made before he was born to prove a point, but since I can't find it on YouTube this will have to do instead.

It's guy writing about himself, both now and who he used to be, and relating it to others who are now going through what he went through when he realized that he didn't agree with many of the "new" principals the Democrats have and how he was basically outcast from his old life and circle when that became clear. And how as rough as it was for him at the time, it is the right choice to make and he's happy that he's moved on and can stand by his principals and not worry about what other people think of his opinions.

Democrats are the party of intolerance. The moment that you start to question anything in the narrative, you risk alienating yourself from everyone you once considered a friend.

There's a lot of people in the middle that aren't wackjobs like that, but I've seen it happen in my own family. I have a brother who basically cut off his whole family after he got married to a rich girl and moved out to the East coast. He broke my step-mom's heart.

I hope he faces The Turn himself one day and realizes what he's done. I do believe he's going to find it exhausting to keep doing what he's doing around that particular group of East Coast Leftist trash.
