What would you like to see her do that would make anything better? I have little faith in any action taken by a Progressive. Every day that goes by without the dollar sinking completely into the abyss is a good day. Previous horrendous Demotard economies have historically always improved with a change to Republican leadership, which in of itself is a pretty amazing fact due to superior policies, or just a string of lucky co-inky-dinks.

Based on today's first news story about Janet Yellen, I suspect 6ix wants Janet Yellen to lower gasoline prices. But no Treasury Secretary has ever had that power. 6ix doesn't know that. 6ix doesn't know that the power to control the price of gasoline belongs to the top 1% of Americans who set prices, which is not Janet Yellen.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said on Thursday she does not think the U.S. economy is going to experience a recession, but gasoline prices were unlikely to fall anytime soon. "I don't think we're (going to) have a recession. Consumer spending is very strong. Investment spending is solid. I expect growth to slow down," she told a New York Times Dealbook event.

Janet Yellen has zero control of any of these things, but stupid people, including reporters, keep asking the Treasury Secretary questions about things the Treasury Secretary can do nothing about. I guess it makes 6ix feel good to believe that somebody whose name he knows controls these things. That belief allows 6ix to place blame. But in reality, 6ix has no idea who controls what. That belief allows unknown people who actually are in control to set prices arbitrarily and capriciously.
