The machine is here but I try to avoid Dystopia cities these days, no apps, no special Robot mower or AI car or Robot Cleaners in house. I did once ask an AI to write a poem and one of those Chatbot Picture Paint things to draw something digital and I was impressed.

However Musk seems to like A.I but I'm not sure if Elon Musk is one of the good guys or bad guys or just 'weird'.

I hear you. I'll never go into a big city again. I've lived within 90 minutes of Chicago all of my life and I haven't been there in almost 20 years. No robots or smart thermostats in my house either. Not now. Not ever.

I've never done it before. Although if I ever get back into my coding project I might look into having it run some python scripting for me on the Linux end of things.

He is weird. I think he's one of the good guys, but who really knows. Could be that my trust is completely misplaced, but I would rather see him developing AI than leaving it in the hands of the US or Chinese governments. The problem is that it will never go away and if laws were made to try to ban it, just like guns the only people working on it will be the bad guys.

I think that at least in Musk's hands, the AI will be available to everybody to use. If the governments ban it they would continue developing it but banning civilians from using it while doing who knows what the hell with it.

Growing up in a Republic was nice... Shame we couldn't keep it.
