I happen to strongly disagree with this one.

Best case scenario, it can at times at least serve as a minor deterrent. Worst case scenario at least they're pretending to be responsible and that there are guardrails.

I agree it doesn't appear to have done a whole lot of good so far, particularly in the last 20 years...

Just the other day I heard Elon say something along the lines of "DOGE is looking to cut $1 Trillion worth of spending.

NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Joe Biden*'s deficit in 2024 was $2.297 Trillion.

Joe Biden*'s deficit in 2023 was $2.239 Trillion.

Joe Biden*'s deficit in 2022 was $2.500 Trillion.

Joe Biden*'s deficit in 2021 was $1.483 Trillion.

Trump's first 3 years were already bad at $672 Billion in 2017, $1.271 Trillion in 2018, and $1.203 Trillion in 2019 and then $4.226 Trillion was added after Covid was fabricated.

Cutting only $1 Trillion out of the budget brings us back to Trump's pre-covid worst year.

You'd better do a lot better than that. And you'd better not cut any fucking tax rebate checks if you're still running a $1.3 Trillion deficit.

As of March 30, 2025, the U.S. national debt, or gross federal debt, is approximately $36.22 trillion. In 2024, the wealthiest 1% of American households held approximately $49.2 trillion in wealth, representing over 30% of the total wealth held by all U.S. households. The easiest solution to the National Debt problem is for the Top 1% to pay the debt, but Elon Musk doesn't want to pay by transferring stock to the Federal government. He would still be worth billions of dollars even after he paid.

Explain how that solution is easy.

I know a dumbtard like you has to have more than "one number is bigger than the other", right?
