I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

News reports say "thousands".

But pictures tell a different story.

If the protests were truly massive, there would be drone footage of streets filled as far as the eye can see. Instead, pictures are close up, framing (sometimes) 1000 people in big cities like LA,
(for benefit of those out of frame, let's say 2000)

But sometimes just a couple of hundred to a couple of dozen

Also, protests aren't always on behalf of migrants, many seem to be just general anti-Trump. I get the feeling that migrants aren't the big draw that organizers thought.

What say you?

I'm seeing news reports claiming "millions" showed up.

Been watching youtube all day and not one person even mentioned them.

Sounds fake to me. Too bad Ted or Second don't actually go to anything like this and we couldn't have some video proof from them about it, huh?

“Even when it was explained to them [protesters] that this was a criminal case, where we were taking a criminal drug smuggler, a known felon off the street and keeping the community safe, they still sat there and protested because they don’t have an independent thought,”

Everybody sees this now.

If you talk to one of them, you've talked to all of them.

It's funny watching "man on the street" videos when they're asked questions and they can't deviate a single word from headlines and soundbytes. And any time they get frustrated because somebody keeps pushing them off that script, they end up either walking away screaming or attacking the person.

It is a mental illness.

Also, maybe Ted and secondbot did go out. But their videos of all 4 attendees were not impressive enough to post.

The insanity is contagious. One idiot dude wrapped crime scene tape around a sergeant's legs and neck, and then some bimbo tries to help the thug by jamming her umbrella in the sergeant's face. Both apparently arrested.
Then, the moron Libtard County Supervisor stops in to demand that Homeland Security inform him whenever they are about to arrest criminals, so he can warn his fellow criminals.

Several others in the video are practically begging to be arrested.

You say that, but don't forget that up until 6 months ago we didn't arrest anybody for anything for 4 years, and the rare time somebody got arrested, AOC and Kamala Harris were out there raising money for their bail bonds when they didn't outright have a George Soros appointed DA that just cut them loose outright without a court case.

These stupid college "educated" kids have no idea what's coming to them right now.

No Kings protest in Houston draws 15K

5 other rallies against Trump in the region also peaceful

An estimated 15,000 people gathered downtown on Saturday in a nationwide protest of President Donald Trump’s multimillion-dollar military parade later in the day and his administration’s policies.

The Houston demonstration, which also included a march along downtown streets, was one of six in the region, as thousands more protesters took to the streets in Conroe, Cypress, Katy, League City and Sugar Land.

Despite fears that the regional protests could be tarnished by the kind of violence experienced in Los Angeles recently, the Houston region’s demonstrations were peaceful.

“I just think we witnessed Houston at its best; I’ll use the word ‘spectacular,’” Mayor John Whitmire said as the protest wound down. “For over 15,000 people to come together in a peaceful protest and march, that just makes a statement about Houston.”

Whitmire and volunteer crowd counters estimated the number of participants.

Nearly two dozen Houston police officers overlooked the protest from horseback as a succession of speakers rallied the crowd against Trump and reminded protesters to stay peaceful.

As of 2 p.m., Whitmire said, no one had been arrested and there was no damage to downtown buildings.

The nationwide No Kings protests were organized to counter the $45 million military parade Saturday night in Washington, D.C., marking the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary. It also coincided with the president’s 79th birthday.

Whitmire, Houston Police Chief Noe Diaz, U.S. Reps. Sylvia Garcia and Al Green, state Reps. Gene Wu and Jolanda Jones and state Sen. Molly Cook were in attendance at City Hall. City Council members Abbie Kamin, Mario Castillo, Joaquin Martinez also joined the crowd.

Garcia kicked off the protest by leading a chant of “no kings,” while demonstrators waved American flags.

“For this fellow in the White House to think he can stop us from exercising our freedom of speech, he is dead wrong,” Garcia said. “It is about our democracy, it is about freedom of speech.”

Diaz said that no members of the National Guard had been deployed to the protest, after Gov. Greg Abbott said Thursday that 5,000 troops were being activated before the protests across Texas.

Protester Hakeem Vincent said he was in the Army National Guard for eight years.

“I took an oath to protect the Constitution and people of this country. Trump wasn’t in that oath,” he said. “What he’s doing isn’t right.”

A veteran of the Coast Guard, Melina Bossert, 27, said she joined the protest because she was disappointed with the direction that Trump was leading the country. Bossert said she felt it was her duty to uphold the Constitution where the government had failed to do so.

“They’re ignoring the Constitution, which I swore to uphold, and cutting VA funding, Bossert said. “My family is minority, and they are terrified, and I cannot believe that white nationalists are winning right now, so this is my line in the sand.”

Tony De Litta, 38, came down from The Woodlands to “fight fascism,” with a Trump piñata in hand.

“One of my friends gave it to me ironically four to five months ago, and I didn’t know what I would do with it, and then this came up so I added a diaper and a crown,” he said.

The California native said he’s been going to protests since he moved here in 2008. “This is not my first rodeo,” said De Litta, adding that he was considering whether to go to the Conroe protest later in the day.

In Conroe, about 100 people gathered before the start of the demonstration.

Cindy Womack of Montgomery said she was at the protest because she wanted to show her displeasure with Trump and his immigration policies.

“I couldn’t not be here, let’s put it that way,” Womack said.

The protest was mainly peaceful, but tempers momentarily flared when a man walked through the crowd shouting “Yay Trump!”

Conroe police defused the situation while several people asked the crowd to allow everyone to voice their opinions.

It wasn’t the only appearance of Trump supporters.

Whitmire confirmed that members of the Proud Boys were also downtown, where they were “being monitored.”

A group of seven Proud Boys were seen standing at the corner of Smith and Walker, across Hermann Square from City Hall. They said they were there to make sure no one got hurt. The group then proceeded to Tranquility Park.

In Sugar Land, hundreds filled the steps of Sugar Land Town Square, as many held signs denouncing hate while others hoisted the American flag and chanted “no fear, no hate, no fascist in our state.”

Cindy Tong said she’d only learned of the No Kings protest in Sugar Land a couple of days ago, she said she couldn’t pass up the chance to show up.

“I just want to be part of this support,” she said.

Tong said showing up in numbers speaks to the importance of what’s going on in Texas and the country.

“It’s pretty important to act,” she said. “The numbers count, so I feel like the more people showing up, it’s a sign that it shows the power of the people and that’s basically how things work. If we voice more, people will hear it.”

Sharpstown resident Anne Wilburn held up a Texas-shaped sign that read “no kings in my TX” with a picture of Trump.

“I wanted very much to be part of this,” she said. “It’s interesting when I was in high school and college, Vietnam was going on, and Kent State happened the year I graduated high school, and I wasn’t paying attention much to politics. So I feel like we’re in a situation now that’s just as challenging, if not more.”

Wilburn said the protest should “make an impression on Trump and Republicans.”

Terri Webster, a leader of the Indivisible No Surrender Coalition of Fort Bend, urged protesters to “not go back to business as usual” as the demonstration there closed.

She encouraged the crowd, estimated at about 900, to go back to their communities and keep speaking out against injustice.

“Our mantra is ‘no surrender,’” she said. “Not now. Not ever. Now, let’s go build the movement that wins our country back because, say it with me, ‘no clones, no crowns no kings.’”

Keri Blakinger, Anusha Fathepure, Raj Mankad and Lisa Gray contributed to this report.

Less turnout due to threat of severe storms and LIGHTNING, with tanks in the parade.
Even those who showed up were leaving after threats of lightning increased.

Looks like more than a few people in this shot, despite what Libtards are claiming.

Meanwhile, protests across America had great weather, but nobody showed up anyhow.
Libtards of Houston claimed 15K, as counted by themselves. IIRC, Libtard conversion formula reveals this was about 900.

That's why I rely on pictures ... and I'm very careful to notice how they're framed

THIS picture shows the most people in Houston

Do you see 15,000??

Me neither.
The remaining pix are very up close..

Son, if there REALLY were 15,000 people there, we'd see drone footage capturing as much of the crowd as possible. It's not like those kinds of pictures can't happen!

‘No Kings’ Was Biggest Protest in U.S. History: Data Analyst

For reference, that’s between 1 and 2 percent of the total population of the United States.

By Will Neal | Jun. 15, 2025 3:22PM EDT

https://www.thedailybeast.com/data-guru-g-elliott-morris-says-up-to-6-
million-people-attended-no-kings-anti-donald-trump-protests
/

The “No Kings” protests in every state may have been the biggest day of demonstrations in American history, a data analyst has suggested.

“Based on hundreds of crowd-sourced records of No Kings Day event turnout, and extrapolating for the cities where we don’t have data yet, it looks like roughly 4-6m people protested Trump across the U.S. yesterday,” independent data journalist G Elliott posted to X Sunday.

https://x.com/gelliottmorris/status/1934206799239889369

For reference, that’d mean Saturday’s demonstrations featured 1-2 percent of the total population of 340 million taking to the streets in more than 2,000 cities to voice their opposition to the increasingly authoritarian, far-right policies the president has pursued since assuming office for the second time.

The “No Kings” rallies follow after a spate of demonstrations against immigration raids carried out in Los Angeles and the surrounding area last week, to which Trump deployed 4,000 members of the National Guard and 700 Marines over the objection of California Governor Gavin Newsom.

In a full report on the figures from Saturday’s demonstrations, Morris added that mounting backlash against Trump’s second term has also witnessed “dramatically more protest activity” than during his first stint in the White House.

Since his inauguration in January, Trump’s administration has witnessed more than 15,000 protests and rallies, representing a threefold increase in the number of public demonstrations that had taken place by this point in 2017.

As the nationwide anti-government rallies unfolded, the president attended a Washington, D.C., parade to mark the 250th anniversary of the founding of the U.S. Army, which also happened to coincide with his 79th birthday.

The White House downplayed the scale of turnout at the anti-Trump protests while playing up the number of people who attended the military parade on Saturday.

Trump’s Director of Communications, Steven Cheung, claimed in a series of X posts that “over 250,000 people” attended the 250th anniversary event, whereas the “No King’s [sic] Protests have been a complete and utter failure with minuscule attendance.”
