Enten: A Clear Majority Of Americans Believe Iran Cannot Get A Nuclear Weapon, Plurality
Favor U.S. Airstrikes on Iran

All your NeoCon dogs* that you were blowing last year are just foaming at the mouth to go
to war with Iran right now, Ted. Even with the Democrats they're polling, they still don't
get the number of Americans who favor US Airstrikes on Iran to below a majority, down from
the 69% of Republicans who they polled that favor it.

I'm on of the 27% of "GOP Voters" who strongly oppose this action.

Meanwhile, your party is DEAD, and the NeoCons are still clinging onto what little power
they still have until cancer or a heart attack finally takes them out for us.

I don't see why we should worry about this at all.

I've been hearing that Iran is "5 years away" from developing a nuclear weapon for 30 years now.

And even if they did manage to develop one, they have no means of shooting it anywhere close to our shores. Iran can't even send us a post card.

Just keep these people the fuck out of my country and then I don't have to worry about them walking around with bombs here on our streets and we're good.

Quote:

The cruelest of ironies is that what could finally undo and destroy the Presidency of Donald J Trump isn’t biased Democrat Lawfare, or paid boomer protests, or District Court judges nullifying his Executive Orders, or Rino Republicans refusing to pass his (bloated) Big Beautiful Bill, a “stolen election” or even an Assassin’s bullet.

What could finish off the 47th President’s agenda for good will be if he goes against his gut and drags America into another Middle East quagmire of blood, and wastes more trillions of American treasure like his predecessors.

War with Iran would be Trump’s Afghanistan, his Vietnam, and ultimately his political Waterloo.

Iran is a Theocratic dictatorship that sponsors terror but has invaded not even one country. They are not Iraq, which until relatively recently, was not a unified country but a group of rival tribes before it became a British colonial construct.

Besides Iran being “the crossroads of civilization,” they are much more homogenous, roughly 2/3rds Persian ethnicity and didn’t bend a knee of break when attacked by Iraq during their 10 year bloody war. They fought tooth and nail for their very survival.

And their 90 million people will fight for their survival again.

It was Britain, and (funded by) the United States that overthrew a democratically elected Iranian Prime Minister Mossedegh in 1953 by using hired mobs in a coup that lead
to the installation of the Shah Pahlavi’s 27 year reign of authoritarianism and human rights abuses. All in the name of Iranian Oil.

So here we are again. If American foreign policy is anything, it is immune from learning or even acknowledging recent history from either political party, leaving millions dead in it’s willful ignorance and arrogance.

I am praying that our President doesn’t start another war.

President Trump could still be our Abraham Lincoln but if he ignores history and our recent military misadventures, he could also end up being another George W. Bush, or God help us, a Republican version of Barack Obama.

Yours truly,
Rob Schneider

Thank you, Mr. Schneider.

Trump must back Israel against Iran. 'Kooky' Carlson is wrong about nuclear threat. | Opinion

I'm no warmonger, and I don't think President Donald Trump is either. The real warmongers in this conflict are the Iranian leaders who fund Hamas, Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations.

Yes. You are a warmonger. Either that, or you are extremely ill-informed and naive.

Ah, there it is. Paragraph 12...

And now Iran appears on the verge of developing nuclear weapons.

Shut the fuck up, Karen.

Either you're wittingly and willingly lying to us, or you're being lied to and repeating those lies. And either way, you're getting paid to spread them...

The same lies that I've been told about Iran since I was in high school and you were still shitting your diapers.

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

It seems despite your (unwarranted IMHO) prejudice against Iranians, it looks like you don't want to get into *another* war?

Hey, we agree on something! This "nuclear bomb" bullshit is just another "WMD" excuse for Israel to attack. And -just like that other weasel Zelensky- Netanyahu plans on dragging us into his war bc he knew (when he started) that he could never finish this on his own.

Why does Trump listen to assholes like Netanyahu and Graham and Miller and Kellogg ... who don't have his or America's interests at heart ... instead of people like Carlson and Vance and Witkoff and Gabbard, who do?

You'd think he'd be a better judge of people. Even if he doesn't know his ass from his elbow, he should listen to people who do.

If he wants to save his MAGA agenda, that is.

I don't just talk about having principals and a cornerstone. I live it. That means that I don't get to pick and choose when it's okay that we're spending hundreds of billions (and even trillions) of dollars in wars we don't belong in and when it's not okay.

It's never okay. At least it hasn't been in any international conflicts that the US has been involved in since all of my surviving family members have been alive, and whether we're actively participating in them or just heavily funding and supporting the war with ordinance.

We don't get involved. But we don't let them invade our own borders like the Democratic Party has allowed for them to do either.

And I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the fact that there is a schism on this issue right now. Not a partisan one either. Sure... it's more heavily for/against from one party to the other on this issue, but this is the first time that I've actually seen real media coverage on the fact that both the Republican and the Democratic party and their voter bases are split amongst each other on this issue as well.

And this is just another example on full display how we are not a hivemind like the Democrats who fall in line on every single issue and they all parrot the same headlines. I think that maybe we're even beginning to rub off on them a little here, with their own willingness to come out and say what they think instead of having the HR/PR departments write up their scripts for them before they speak.

And I'll ask you for probably the 5th time this week, what makes you think that he does "listen" to them... at least anymore than he's listening to everyone else? I think he's listening to what everyone has to say right now. Meanwhile, he's just going to type out whatever comes to his mind and fuck with everyone like he always does.

Maybe in the end, you're right on this one and he is fully behind Israel and the war machine. But I'm not sold on anything until it happens. I don't give a shit about whatever headlines or breaking news about it says today or tomorrow or even next week or next month. Trump has been nothing but surprises so far, and he is the catalyst of the demise of the Democratic party and the great awakening and en masse inoculation against the Lying Legacy Media.

See... You're already talking like the MAGA agenda needs saving.

I don't feel that way at all. At least not now.

Have there been things he or his chosen cabinet have said or done that I'm not on board with? Sure. You're never going to be on board with everyone 100% on everything. But I have a feeling that a few of those issues that I'm not currently aligned with are actually going to go an entirely different way than they appear to be right now.

For example...?

I don't believe them when they come out and tell us that Epstein killed himself.

I believe that's a 2-fold ploy.

First, it made a lot of extremely powerful and extremely nervous people relax and think that this is all buried and let their guard down.

And second, why put that info out there right now when we're 18 months away from the mid-terms when we can spend all month leading up to the election slowly leaking that information out starting October of next year?
