In a new poll from The Economist and YouGov out on Tuesday, the president's approval rating is 41 percent versus a disapproval rating of 54 percent. The poll shows the president has a 13 percent gap, with more Americans disapproving of his handling of the presidency.

The poll was taken from June 13 to June 16 among 1,512 U.S. adult citizens, with a 3.3 percent margin of error.

The week before, from June 6 to June 9, the president had an approval rating of 43 percent and a disapproval score of 52 percent. The gap was 9 percent leaning toward more Americans disapproving of the president's handling of the Oval Office.

No. It's simply a pure waste of time and effort.

It's been pointed out to you on dozens of occasions when your mindless clickbait and cherry-picked singular polls like you just posted turn out to be wrong, but you just flee that thread when you're confronted with reality.

You aren't at all interested in The Truth. You're just looking for confirmation bias and dopamine hits. Nobody has time for your bullshit anymore. So just keep being wrong and keep being ignored.

That's your life now. You've earned it.

Trump Suffers Blow in New Poll

Analysts have increasingly warned that Americans now face increased uncertainty regarding trade policy. CNN analyst Harry Enten has argued that President Donald Trump’s erratic tariff strategy has fallen under significant scrutiny. Polling has reportedly indicated that 55% of voters believe Trump lacks a clear trade strategy—a figure that rises to 64% among independent voters.

That's a meaningless poll, asking questions they've never historically asked anyone.

Meanwhile, on all the polls that matter, Trump is doing just fine. Either better than his predecessors or at least on par with where they were.

Got anything serious to talk about today or are you just going to bitch about nothing again like you always do?

Because Trump put tariffs on and off again it delayed shortages. However, he did cause a sort of brief embargo on goods coming into the country.

There was a two-month period where no goods were ordered or shipped. Nothing coming in to replenish supplies and keep store shelves stocked. That should hit now; July. Let’s see how the month goes. Let's see if company inventories hold out.

Don't be like Bill Maher 6 years ago, Ted, because he wouldn't say this again today...

Over the weekend, HBO talk show host Bill Maher spoke the words out load.

"I feel like the bottom has to fall out at some point," he said, talking about the booming economy. "And by the way, I'm hoping for it because one way you get rid of Trump is a crashing economy.

"Sorry if that hurts people, but it's either root for a recession or you lose your democracy."

Maher would, if he could, throw millions of people into unemployment and poverty, watch as hard-earned savings vanish, wages stagnate and hope gets crushed, if that might keep Trump from winning re-election.

This, by definition, is another 80/20 issue that you lose on every time.

Unless your party starts trying to put together something that works and actually makes America better, it will never regain prominence with The People again. At least not truly in any meaningful and lasting way.

If you're begging for a recession again, all you're doing is making people on the right and in the middle hate your party even more than they already do right now.

Yeah... If everything does fall apart, humans will do what humans do and they will immediately go out and vote for the other side in hopes to either correct things or just out of spite and vengeance.

But aren't you tired of that being what your party stands for after more than a decade of doing it?

I for one am exhausted with all of it.

That premise only applies if Trump is not destroying everything he touches. Since he is, MAGA believing he can do no wrong, is what is helping to take America down Gilligan. Not my pointing out Trump’s corruption and stupidity. That doesn't show I am hoping America fails.

You just had 4 years and literally everything got worse for everyone.

And you never called your party out once for it.

You were too busy typing out Trump's name a dozen times per day, and saying his name out loud 100 times per day and thinking his name 1000 times per day for 4 years straight while your party made everything worse.

That's just called misplaced disappointment and misdirected anger.

If things were great for the last 4 years, two very big things would have been different than they are and were.

1. You wouldn't have obsessed over Trump for 4 years while he wasn't even President.

2. The American people would have voted overwhelmingly against Trump.

They didn't even have to be great for that to have happened. Good enough would have been just fine. But what Democrats did to the American Citizens over the last 4 years is a travesty.

One that they're paying dearly for right now. One that many thought they'd never actually have to pay for or take any accountability for until 6 months ago.

Despite everything that has happened... Democrats can't even manage 20% support/approval in a CNN poll. Even on days when Trump is down in these up again / down again times, the Democratic Party as a whole is polling, far, far, far worse than Trump's single worst day in his 2 terms. That's not an opinion. That's a very easily verifiable fact.

Polls show opinions on Iran: How do Trump's approval ratings compare to past presidents?

An average of recent polling from the New York Times shows Trump's approval rating at 44%, as of June 27 with 52% disapproving of his job performance. Pollster Nate Silver's “Silver Bulletin” newsletter calculated the president has a 45% approval and 52% disapproval Friday, and RealClearPolitics’ average was slightly higher, giving the president a 47% approval and 51% disapproval rating.

In a Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday, June 26, the Republican leader had a 41% approval rating among respondents, with 54% disapproving. This compares to Quinnipiac's poll released June 11, when 38% approved and 54% disapproved.

Respondents gave Trump less-than-majority marks across his handling of seven key issues:

A Reuters/Ipsos poll released earlier this week gave Trump a similar 41% approval number, the lowest that the poll has found in his second term and down one point from earlier in the month. The poll opened after U.S. airstrikes on Iran on June 21 and ended early June 23 before Iran said it attacked a U.S. air base in Qatar. The Reuters/Ipsos survey gave him a 57% disapproval rating, with opinions of his stance on the economy and foreign policy both slipping four points to 35% approval.

In a Gallup poll conducted from June 2-19, 40% approved of Trump's job performance. Here is how that compares to other presidents in June of their first year of their term, according to Gallup:

Joe Biden (June 2021) - 56% approve
Trump (June 2017) - 38% approve
Barack Obama (June 2009) - 61% approve
George W. Bush (June 2001) - 54% approve
Bill Clinton (June 1993) - 41% approve
George H.W. Bush (June 1989) - 70% approve
Ronald Reagan (June 1981) - 59% approve

Too bad you can't even get 20% approval on a CNN poll in 2025, despite all of that, huh?

You've got nothing to smile about.

And unless we go into a terrible recession or depression between now and mid-term election day, you're going to get slaughtered because you have absolutely nobody to run for the Democratic party that anybody is going to vote for.

You've lost everything. And the only thing you can do now is hope and pray for the downfall of America because it's the only way you ever win an election again now.

You still don't realize it... or maybe you're just denying that to yourself... but eventually you're going to figure it out.
