Quote:

Democrats’ extremism continues to underwrite Donald Trump’s agenda. Since 2021, this has been the case, and it shows no sign of stopping. Rather than bolstering them as an alternative, Democrats are giving Trump the leverage to pursue his aggressive agenda.

President Trump remains divisive. While his job approval and favorability ratings are higher than they were eight years ago, they remain low. According to Real Clear Politics’ August 28 average of national polling, Trump’s approval rating is 45.3%-51.5% for -6.2% net; on August 28, 2017, Trump sat at -16.9%. According to RCP’s polling average of Trump’s favorability, he is 44.3%-52.1%, for -7.8%; on August 28, 2017, Trump was -17.9%.

Trump’s 2024 victory was a landslide in swing states and states between the coasts. However, Trump’s win in the popular (below 50%) and in the electoral votes (312-226) was hardly historic. Nor did he bring home large congressional majorities: Republican control of the Senate (by six votes, 53-47) and House (by five votes, 220-215) do not approach past presidents’ majorities.

Yet Trump took office governing like FDR in his first 100 days. Now into his third “hundred days,” Trump is still doing so. And this is a president who was twice impeached and once defeated: No impeached president has ever been reelected (let alone a twice-impeached one), and the last time a defeated president was reelected occurred over 130 years ago.

How is this continued momentum possible? Democrats’ extremism is making them even less popular.

How long have I been telling you two that all you're doing is free Trump campaign work when you carry on like you do everyday?

Have you ever heard of the Barbara Streisand Effect and do you know what it means?

Multiply that by about 10 Million times, and that's what you freaks and dummies have done with Trump.

I've said it before, but honestly really step back and think about it. Of Jack, Second and Ted, what would you pin the percentages of posts quoting Trump or surrounding Trump would honestly be?

I'd give that a near 50/50 split between Ted and Second, with about 2% of those posts coming from Jack.

I don't watch him. I don't have a Truth Social Account and I rarely post anything that he posts there. And you know full well the dude posts there just about as often as you two post here, so I could be flooding the board all day everyday with stuff coming from his account there.

The last time I sat down and watched an event that Trump had and saw him speak in any more than soundbytes or very short press conferences was his debate against Kamala Harris. The last time I did before then was his debate against Joe Biden*.

TDS brain isn't a joke, my dudes.

Trump literally lives inside of your heads.

I don't even get why.

You two are absolutely miserable.

Just stop already. Or at least take a break for a few weeks and see how it fits you.

I'm sure that there are much more productive things that you can be doing with what's left of your time than driving yourselves crazy over nothing because somebody else is manipulating you into that destructive behavior and it ain't right. I feel bad for you and all of the others like you.

And I'm really glad to see people like Joe Scarborough, Taylor Lorenz and even Rosie freakin' O'Donnell open their eyes and decide they've had enough.

Good luck to you.
