That's funny, because I checked out of playing new games when the barrier for almost all games was 4 players on one TV. You probably had some strategy type games with BattleNet with more than 4 players if you were lucky, but I might have tuned out before that too.

I've been out of the game, but I haven't been that distant from it to know that a new game with 4 player limits over a network in 2025 is pure comedy.

I remember when Epic Megagames was just 1 teenage dude making games from his bedroom at his parent's house. Now they (Epic Games) are just one of the big names for the cancer that is AAA game development studios, who absorbed and destroyed who knows how many small, self-started companies to turn into the evil it has today.

May all the big studios fail by the end of the 2020's.
