Gotta be honest with you, JSF. In all of the years I've been using mediabiasfactcheck to scope out the direction of the incoming slant from a website when I'm choosing whether or not to even attempt ingesting whatever it is they're feeding us, this is the first time I've ever seen their "pseudo-science" label/meter.

Impressive find, that.


I will grant you that their explanation for giving it the pseudo-science label/rating, even though it's not giving it any sort of Extreme on their conspiracy theory claim, comes off very much like Lefty Gobbledy Gook.

That being said, there is a reason I use them to this day. It has been my experience up to this point that their assessment of news and "news" organizations is just about as spot on as the RCP polling aggregates are.

ETA: Also, a suggestion to the author of the article...

I don't think that it's a good look to post a video or a tweet of a video in your article of some obviously extremely right leaning news show full of Christian religious imagery that appears to be titled "THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH". At least not if you want anybody to take you seriously.

If anybody voluntarily subjects themselves to a show titled The Absolute Truth and the words coming out of the mouths of whoever is talking on it, that is somebody I don't believe I would care to associate with at all.

I think we've all had plenty enough of that over the last decade and a half coming from the left. Yanno... with Mika Brazinski coming out and admitting live on air that controlling what people think is "their job", and about roughly 30% of the country proving her correct by lining up like good little soldier ants, all sounding and behaving exactly the same and saying the exact same words every single day without ever taking a day off.
