I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

It was totally FEMA's fault, and FEMA is Bush's responsibility: "'The moment the president declared a federal disaster, it became a federal responsibility,' said Jane Bullock, who spent 22 years at FEMA under presidents of both parties." Please read this article carefully. It is the first comprehensive article on who was supposed to do what. As Rue and I have been pointing out, FEMA was the oragnization in charge from the day that Bush declared a Federal disaster (Aug 27 for Louisiana and Aug 28 for Mississippi and Alabama.) INFORM YOURSELF before spouting nonsense. www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-plan11sep11,0,2153804.st

And that's exactly why the Coast Guard had a fleet of 20 ships plus 10 commercial ones waiting IN THE GULF to assist NO after the hurricane. Because they could and they're brave and capable, and you're a chicken sh*t... Got it, dude? -Rue
Wow, this just screams paranoid delusion- Finn

Finn- you too. There were private and ancillary helicopters and ships waiting... WAITING... to help. They were waved off by FEMA, or they never got the go-ahead. Read the article.

When your worst nightmares can't keep up with the awfulness of the reality, it's not paranoia. So...
Please don't think they give a shit.

Read this article carefully?!? Signy, are you insane??? Let facts and such mess up an otherwise perfectly pleasent delusion that our leaders have only our BEST interests in mind for us? That they CARE about each and every one of us? That power for it's own sake is only a goal for foreign tyrants? That Superman is a United States citizen and a staunch supporter of the Bush administration?

Signy, some NEED their fantasies, just to get through the day.
Don't go bursting their bubble....
