Ain't he just so noble? What a true man of honour.

Did he fall off the wagon yet?

Kirk:
Before we leave 21st century Earth Spock, explain to me again why we beamed 915,000 tons of Scud nuclear and bio-chemically laden missles out of that desert facility down there, and let the molocules free in space?

Spock:
History shows the absence of verifiable 'WMD's' after the second Gulf war serves to undermine public credibility with the current president of the United States, and usher in a new era of responsible leadership. Since our sensors detected the WMD's just outside what is Bhagdad at this time, I logically assumed not finding such an obvious stockpile must be due to our presence here, and so I acted to preserve the timeline as we know it. Mr. Scott assisted.

Kirk:
Of course you acted properly. That Saurian brandy last night left me...a little fuzzy.

Spock:
It is interesting to note that a senator Andrew J Lynch would spend the rest of his days searching the planet for traces of the weapons, to no avail. But he did have quite a strong following.

Kirk:
Well then, we gave one man a purpose. Prepare to leave orbit!

You really believe that governmental agencies don't engage in partisan political activities. One word. WOW. One more word. Watergate

Show me a story in guardian.co.uk to back your claim, and I'll listen.

Believing anything that the Guardian propaganda team put out would be as daft as believing the information spit out by Tass or its Iraqi equivalent.

Guess we really can't have a dialogue so I'll just play the game with ya.

DON'T TELL ME THAT AGAIN SCIENCE OFFICER! Find them. Synthesize them. There must be red shirts all over that planet down there! We made WMD's disappear, now do it to red shirts! We must have expendable crew on hand!

SPOCK
Jim, your patterns of thought are starting to resemble those of the President of the United States, circa 2005!

KIRK
...must be that Saurien brandy again. I'll be in my bunk.
