I don't know if anyone else has read this, but it is one of the coolest things I have ever read. These guys even have their own version of "The Hero of Canton." Its basically an island that worships this American soldier, John Frum, who brought them "cargo" from the heavens. They build runways out of bamboo to attract the cargo gods. Check it out!
