America loves a winner!

Got the story wrong, as usual. Says Bush allowed 'sensitive Iraq info ' to leak?..., but nothing about Val Plame, who wasn't even a 'covert' agent at the time her HUSBAND had already outter her, long before. Hey, if it's our intel, we can relase it as we see fit. And it was the British intel which said that Iraq was going BACK to Niger to get more yellow cake, where it had obtained that 20 years before.

No story here.

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss

FINN MAC CUMHAL

Actually it came on Fox News. Sorry to bust your bubble, Bernstein.

Although the BBC does put a somewhat fictional slant on it, which may indicate a Liberal bias or just the BBC’s ignorance of American government. First of all the court documents do not, as you claim, indicate that Bush or Cheney ever authorize the “outing” of Plame. And since the President has final authority on classification, if the president “leaks” it, then it can’t be, by definition, a leak of classified information.

Nothing is more unpredictable than the mob, nothing more obscure than public opinion, nothing more deceptive than the whole political system.

Pre-trial court papers cite Lewis "Libby" Scooter as saying he was told to tell a reporter Iraq was "vigorously trying to procure" uranium.

Mr Scooter, former chief-of-staff to Vice-President Dick Cheney, is facing trial in connection with another leak.

"Mr Scooter"?

I usually consider the BBC site reliable and not as obviously biased as most, but this looks like they were in such a rush to slam the Bush Administration that they couldn't even take time to get the names straight. Sad.
