Hi Allisa,

I try to not, but if I typo I hope you don't take it personally.

Thanks for your input. I appreciate it.

What I like to do is respond point by point with quotes and links. Unfortunately I had (and have) many meetings so I didn't (and don't) have to time to respond to Ex-lax and all his poop.

What I hope you'll consider is that he shows indications of being or having been a professional propagandist. Please remember that before you reveal too much identifying information on this board. (Regretably, if you've become a person of interest and the government is tracking you, I'm afraid there's not a lot you can do.)

What I intend to do (if I get the time in the next few days) is go through his posts point by point and get a link to audio of the little tete a tete. I had the good fortune to be able to listen to it at will, transcript in hand. It revealed a lot of things that Ex-lax would rather pretend aren't true.

Sincerely,
Rue

My personal feeling is that the machine is making a point of not 'minding' Herr Bush closely. And he also seems to be either drinking or drugging again, as there have been reports over the last year of him stumbling, weaving etc; and of increasingly erratic behavior. All that poop that they spent so much time hiding - well, they're not gonna do that anymore. (Whew, what a relief! It was hard work, hard work.)

Herr Bush didn't get where he is on his own merits. He's there because a powerful machine put him there. And once he's the focus of public disapproval, the machine will replace him.

I suspect they will let him look bad enough that Jeb (whose initials are, interestingly JB - how unfortunate) will look like a great alternative. Ahhhh. The SANE and moderate BUSH !!

Yeah, I made a typo, and not on purpose. Not that anyone cares. But per your findings of the CLINTON physical search, what exactly did you find ? Why no posting of the RESULTS, as was done for Bush , earlier in this thread ?

Does that seem right to you?

What do Clinton's old results have to do with BUSH's current drinking and drugging? For that matter, what do BUSH's current results have to do with his current drinking and drugging? They don't test for substance abuse during the physical. Though if I were to believe your logic, knowing Bush's height and weight proves he isn't indulging.

So I was just wondering if you had some kind of point to make.

Allisa,

It may just be the avatar you picked, but I get the impression you're relatively young. So I just want to reiterate, you can't assume all Browncoats who come to this fine site are on the up and up. You need to treat all posters with a certain level of caution until you know otherwise, especially in political discussions.

I grew up in the 60's when there were US government operatives working in the US - disinformation folk, political operatives, agents provocateur, internal spies etc. These techniques were not off the cuff local inventions, they were well known and honed, not just federally in the US but around the globe.

Currently the US federal government is tracking those horrible radical Quakers, people who attend rallies, and the like. And the government recently did "trap and traces" and "pen registers" without warrant on roughly 1/10 of the entire US population. That's a large secret program spying on many, many ordinary citizens. So you can't assume the government has not, is not, and will not invoke intrusive secret programs. And whenever these things happen, there are of course the people for whom it is their job.

If you are concerned about staying off the radar, it helps if you keep your head down and your voice quiet. That's a sad thing to say in a democracy. But I thought it worth mentioning.

---------------------------------------------

"Pen registers are surveillance devices that capture the phone numbers dialed on outgoing telephone calls; trap and trace devices capture the numbers identifying incoming calls."

The EFF (Electronic Freedom Foundation) brought suit against AT&T for its participation in the illegal call tracking. A Federal Judge refused to dismiss the case, handing down the ruling July 21, 2006. http://www.eff.org/news/archives/2006_07.php#004843

http://www.commondreams.org/headlines06/0116-09.htm
Quakers who were protesting military recruitment efforts recently learned their meeting was included on a secret Pentagon database of "suspicious incidents."

The database obtained by NBC showed that the Pentagon also had labeled as "threats" counter-military recruiting protests and other planned demonstrations around the country, including one at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven.

A Defense Department spokesman said last week that the TALON (Threat and Local Observation Notice) program is intended to deal with suspicious activity and threats to national security before an attack occurs. "Unfiltered" information in the database can come from law enforcement, counter-intelligence or even concerned citizens, he said. The information then becomes a "dot" that could later be connected to other "dots" to identify a possible terrorist attack plot in its early stages. The information is shared with law enforcement, intelligence and other government security agencies and analyzed.

For the first time since the Civil War, the United States has been designated a military theater of operations. The Department of Defense -- which includes the NSA -- is focusing its vast resources on the homeland. And it is taking an unprecedented role in domestic spying.

Did anyone see the recent Daily Show, where Jon Stewart used two speeches by Bush

One where he went on about how Stem cell research is bad because every life is sacred... and even if the cure for cancer came from such research it was too high a price...

The other where he was talking about civilian deaths in Iraq, and how 30,000 odd deaths was the price of democracy, etc

it was so funny... and sad

Now he can't count. Over 2-MILLION Iraqis murdered by USA, UK and UN. Approximately 200,000 DEAD US Gulf War veterans, according to US Dept of VA, US Census, Major Dr Doug Rocce and US Army, plus over 500,000 disabled US Gulf War vets now paid disability pensions. Those numbers will probably double before its over. If we're "lucky", it won't be 10 times or 100 times that number, including civilians in USA.

FREMDFIRMA

Ah how history repeats itself, sharp teeth indeed!

Google: COINTELPRO
For more information, and in all honesty, let's be blunt here, they NEVER did stop that crap, not for an eyeblink.

Every single one of our so-called intelligence agencies is a total failure, spending so much time spying on, maligning and harrassing americans (even tho by their charter itself, some are *forbidden* to!) that they have no resources left to devote to what they're supposed to be doing.

They've not stopped even ONE actual, believable attempt on our citizens or country, although they occasionally kick out entirely laughable "plots" they've 'broken up' (usually cooked up by their plants in the first place.) like these sears tower and tunnel jokes.

Were it up to me, I'd cut their funding and close their doors, reinforcing abject failure is always a bad idea, and rewarding it is even worse.

Oh, yeah, and the ONLY reason COINTELPRO was ever exposed in the first place ?

That's the quiz final here - go find out, and you tell me HOW it was exposed.

And then explain to me why I should listen to the same protester-pansies who got their asses royally kicked in Florida when they did play by the rule of law.

Little wussies with signs in the "free speech zone" in the basement of a parking garage five miles away are a damn joke - pissed off people with bricks and torches are a *voice*, and one that gets heard, one that gets it done.

I would suspect someone saying "oh no, we can't do that, we'd get in trouble..." as being a plant, too - given that the best way to crush dissent is to get the dissenters to muzzle themselves.

To bloody hell with that.

I already did back up my claim, if you read the post. Call me on it all you want, but you'd have to ignore the objective evidence given. Saying stupid things does not measure one's intelligence. And FYI, Kerry didn't 'crush' Bush in all 3 debates, as you claim. First of all, debates don't measure one's intelligence, but only one's ability to speak in public and quite frankly b.s. an audience. Kerry wins there, I suppose. But after that, it's all subjective.

i dont believe Bush is an idiot..i believe he has to consistantly lie about his motives to the extent that he just makes things up as he goes along. you dont become president by chance, you get in office because you sale yourself to the highest bidders...and in this case, hes got so many obligations to fullfill that when it comes time to talk in front of the public, he'll do anything to aviod admitting to the citizens that hes not there to serve us and our interests. so he makes a couple jokes and shoots the breeze..which accounts for his unintelligable small talk

i think this thread is good evidence as to just how antiquated "liberal" "conservative" and the rest of these terms have become. is it not obvious by now that these labels only succeed in corning peoples minds into one controlled paradigm or another? as if there is really a difference anymore between the two parties...neither are serving the avg Americans interests any longer. maybe its more realistic to understand that each party accomplishes a different phase of an elitist agenda: sometimes you need a socialist like Clinton..othertimes you need a fascist oil guy like Bush. to think that a single party has a monopoly on the truth is rediculous; it only accomplishes the divisions required to pull the wool over your eyes long enough to steal your God given rights from you. this is why Jesus said "any nation divided against itself will not stand; and any house divided against itself will not stand. if Satan opposes Satan, then he cannot stand, and his time is up", or something to that effect...

Hear hear!

Except that apparantly when satan opposes satan he wins. re: the thing that is bush-clinton

I have taken to saying paleo-con because i don't want to be confused with a neocon. I suspect the same will happen to folks on the left once Hillary Clinton is elected and start committing her own special brand of genocide on the arabs. They'll be paleo-libs and neo-libs.

But really the real debate is between the paleo and the neo, and it's the same debate between the federalists and the anti-federalists. Originally, the anti-federalists were the called the confederates, (pre-civil war of course, different confderacy, though the second was named after the first) and it was the federalists who spun them the anti- so that the negativity would lose them voter appeal, which it did.

But it was the Anti-federalists who created and fought for the bill of rights that the federalists fought very hard to abolish, and that the supreme court was actually thought up by the federalists for the purpose of supplanting the bill of rights, which it has eventually done.

Federalist firefly fans strike me as an oxymoron, with emphasis on the moron. What do they do, root for the alliance?

Anyway, the rest of us need to put our "issues" on the back burner. There will be a time to argue about right to life again (I'm still for it) but that time is not now. Now is a time to set aside all of our petty left right differences and unite against a common enemy: Evil

Because that's what federalism is, it's pure evil, the pursuit of personal power at the expense of everyone, and indeed everything, on this Earth. It's self-agrandizement without bounds. It was well known even in the late 1700s that the federalists really sought to dismantle the free society and name themselves king. It's an idea wait in the wings, growing like a mold in the minds of the people who are so close to power that, like with the one ring, they are sucked into its vortex.

We need to chuck this political power ring into the metaphorical mount doom.
