OK, lets here it now! Mine is the San Diego Chargers of the AFC verses the New Orleans Saints of the NFC. Lighting Bolts win over the Who Dats 30-23. Philip Rivers throws a strike to his tight end in the last 4 minutes. Saints get the ball back but Reggie Bush fumbles which costs them the game.

I don't kill santas. I do.

Still convinced the Browns have a shot.

I also predict the most boring and least controversal half-time show and commercials ever.

Browns beat the Cowboys 31-30 with an incredible 4th Quarter 31 point rally for the win when Quarterback Charlie Frye, knocked out of the game in the opening play with a broken leg, returns to the game to lead the amazing rally despite wearing a full leg cast. Even more shocking is the post game announcement that Senator Obama is a gay, black, Republican and intends to join in a civil union with his male domestic partner, Hillary Clinton, pledging to "overcome their political differences with sweet, sweet man on man lovin". He is promptly stripped of his blackness by the NAACP, his manhood by NOW, and his mojo by Dr. Evil.

The way things are going currently, I'm gonna have to jump on the Chargers-Saints bandwagon. But c'mon - Brees, Colston & Bush Vs. Rivers, Gates & Tomlinson - who DOESN'T wanna see that??

I'm'a say Bears vs. Patriots.

Yes, I'm going out on a limb somewhat but I figure Rex will have figured out the secret to not playing badly by January and while SD is certainly playing very well of late I expect New England to remember they are a good team during the playoffs and proceed to remind everybody else of that fact.

For the game itself I'm going to be more wishy-washy and say it'll either be Bears in a blowout if Good Grossman shows up or Patriots by less than 7 if Bad Grossman is in attendance.

I'm with you although not on the outcome. Whoever does win I think it will be a close game.

SINGATE

I've got a feeling about the Ravens this year. The addition of McNair seems to have energized the entire organization. Ray Lewis has that defense more focused than they have been since their previous Super Bowl year. Ray Lewis on a mission is one of the scariest things I could imagine if I were on offense.

Don't think it much matters who makes it from the NFC. With the exception of the Saints the entire conference is a bunch of underachievers. The Bears are so over-rated it's not even funny. Without their special teams they are at best a .500 team. Living here in NC I'm so thrilled at how the Panthers have crashed and burned this season.

For the record I'm a Cowboys fan but I don't have much hope in their postseason chances. Every playoff caliber team they have played has exposed their weaknesses. Though it has been fun watching Romo turn the team around.

You are of course wrong. First off the Bears do have a very good defense. Perhaps not as good as last year's (arguably the best defensive squad in the league ever. The 85 defense had better stats but that team also had an offense for support) but still quite competent. On offense they are admitedly iffy but the D keeps them in games they should lose and when Good Grossman is on the field the Bears roll over opponents - even quality opponents - with ease. Exceptional special teams play is just an added bonus.

I predict the Bears will lose in the first round regardless of the opponent.

Only if Grossman has a really bad day and the defense doesn't play to their ability and whoever they face can keep Hester's hands off the ball. So possible but unlikely.

The bears even with the bye haven't got past a playoff game. Twice in 12 years something like that they have no dept at defense. Defense in playoffs win championships. Grossman now has more enough tape on him. I just don't see him as QB in the superbowl. NFL would like to see the big markets in it NY, la woops they don't have a team so much do there ya know when not working to pay rent, Chicago, and Dallas. If it plays out right we could have an NFC title game in New Orleans. My Panthers have lost their leaders from last season they play like their lost so go Saints. AFC has a great team playing the Chargers on all cylinders.

Brett Favre use to run a two tight end set. But try and find one good catching te today. With high end QBs Brett at 10 mil a year to do your check down you bust the cap. That's Jake Delhomme's problem no TE when Wiggens left for the Vikings moe money its not been the same. Wigs came from NE. I know Tom Brady would like to have em back. Oh well what can ya do.

No, but there is a KC fan that is happy that you have been disappointed.

Looks like we will miss the playoffs together.

I am calling San Diego and Chicago in the Super Bowl. San Diego winning 24-17.

Technically, because I live in Colorado, I should root for them. Instead, I secretly point my finger and laugh at them (to prevent any incidents such as the unfortunate one which involved my father and somebody else with a restraining order a few years back ).
