I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Ah. One of the many Congressional investigations must be getting close to the WH. My guess is that it has to do with warrantless wiretapping. Now, only Alberto "Waterboarding" Gonzales stands between the WH and a full enquiry. There's nothing quite as much fun as watching the rats run.

See Rove run. RUN, ROVE, RUN!

Swing and a miss.

I heard he's headed out to advise one of the Republican Presidential candidates.

Rove said earlier Monday that his resignation as was not forced and that he plans to spend his post-White House career writing a book and teaching.

Naww..the guy just figured his job was done. W has just over 1 yr left in office, and no re-election, so why not mosey on out to Texas? Think Mitt Romney is gonna keep him around the White House after the '08 election? ha-ha!

Seriously, Rove was called before the Grand Jury 5 friggin times, and what did it amount to ? Nuttin.

Time to move on.

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss

The only people happier than Bush haters today with the news of Rove leaving are the inner-circle Cave House Staff of Bin Laden's. "Yep", they say as they stretch out their arms after another restless night in the cave, "pretty soon Bush & Gang will be gone, and we'll be able to commit our murder and mayhem again without all that America fighting back crap....yep, just like the good 'ole Clinton years", as they all high-five eachother.

What?

So Al Qaeda has been afraid of Rove all this time?

Maybe they shouldn't rest easy just yet. Maybe Rove is taking off time to go hunt Bin Laden down, and is deceiving the enemy with false aid and comfort.

Now there's a spin on Rove I haven't heard before. How refreshingly off the wall.

.........

But seriously, there's nothing like the aid and comfort of ignoring your intelligence briefings that say obscure things like "Bin Laden determined to attack the united states."

Fucking Clinton...

One less Federalist weasel I need to worry about then, with 'friends' like Rove, who needs an enemy ?

Wouldn't be surprised neither, they sent Wolfie to the World Bank, and that worked out real well, didn't it ?

It'd do my heart good to see the whole of the Clean Break/PNAC/NWO crowd standing in the unemployment line where they belong, I doubt there's been a pack of less competent wannabe imperialists since the Carthaginians.

Flippin burgers at a fast food joint is more in line with their abilities anyhows.

Hey, what you got against the Carthaginians?
At least when they sacrificed children they had a reason for it.

LoL, Oldengland.. it's that they were so BAD at it.

Now, I cannot say I am fond of would-be world conquerers, but mostly they go with the boiled frog style, subtle, sneaky, and at least the pretense of doing good.. or, they go the other way round and just admit it and revel in it like Ming the Merciless.

THIS crowd, just went about it so incompetently and halfassed that on top of everything else, on top of what they are trying to do, it outrages me just that much more... kinda like how Jayne was so totally offended at Dobsons incompetence.

For as badly as they mucked things up, they coulda just flat out said, right after 9-11..

"Well, they wanted to hide and support Osama, didn't hand him over, fine... we're gonna take your whole damn country, turn it over lookin for him WHILE we take your goddamn oil to pay for it, and IF yer lucky, you buncha Tali-tubby bastards, we'll give it back WHEN we find his ass..."
(And then, knowin OBL has been dead since Dec 2001, we'd have just hung on to it and wrung it dry under the pretense of reform, see ?)

I mean, they weren't even SLICK about it, couldn't get their story straight, were too busy backstabbing each other to get with the program and just generally went about it in a slapdash and wholly incompetent fashion.

Evil bastardy is bad enough, but incompetent evil bastardy is just inexcuseable.

I completely argee with you on that one. I'm not saying that Rove was stupid (far from it), but it just scares me that he will be helping the Republicans put another team into office that may make the international relationsions that we have around the world more difficult.
