Bush may be lining this lady up for a higher office if the Republicans win the next election...

She's way too intelligent for this Administration...I think her beauty & brains are best suited for a clerical position, working under Mr. Clinton when he becomes the First Lady.

I actually kind of feel sorry for this girl. She was obviously flustered and just rambling. I've certainly been there before. Of course I don't seek out opportunities to speak in public...

I feel sorry for her too. It really was a stupid question anyhow....a teenage girl should not be expected to pontificate about why the US Educational system, despite trillions of taxpayer dollars being poured in over the last few decades, has utterly failed to teach kids about history & geography...Heck most college kids cannot point to Cananda on a map, and cannot answer who was President during the Civil War.

Problem is who do you get to point out the facts of the issue...

The politicians who helped make the mess, the educators that are the core of the problem system, the parents who likely would sound about the same as this young lady answering the question.

The youth have to start making noise or nothing will change. Notice the girl asking the question looked to be about the same age, might just make a statement about societal values...

GEEZER

Keep the Shiny side up

Hey, Mike Nifong is available. He's already proven that he's willing to prosecute the rich and powerful, and he'd have broad support from leaders of traditionally Democratic voters, such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

SOUPCATCHER

That reminds me of the link Frem posted in the Genarlow Wilson thread ( http://bennettlawfirm.typepad.com/badprosecutors/ )

Seeing as how this administration has a track record of rewarding incompetence (with Medals of Freedom or promotion to a higher position, etc.) pretty much anyone on that list of bad prosecutors should be eligible.

It would fit in nicely with the Bush administration tactic of appointing industry insiders to regulate their own industry. Who better to go after criminals?
